This will be a charity tournament, where half of the entry fees will be donated to Toys for Tots, and the other half goes toward saving the store! Prize support will be on a donation basis!

In a galaxy far, far away... It's time to get back to what made us all fall in love with Star Wars in the first place. The original trilogy! This format will use all current rules and upgrades (with some exceptions, covered later), but only with ships from the original trilogy. And we mean ORIGINAL trilogy, not the remastered one.

Here are the rules: Everyone brings two lists, one Imperial and one Rebel. Each list will be comprised of ships seen only in the Original Trilogy movies. Why two lists you ask? Well, that’s because same faction match-ups are not permitted! It’s going to be the good guys vs the bad guys like in the movies.

Legal Ships:

Rebels: T-65 X-Wing, Y-Wing, B-Wing, A-Wing, YT-1300

Imperials: TIE/ln Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE Advanced, TIE Bomber, Lambda Shuttle, Firespray

Any upgrade cards are permitted except TLTs and Bomblet Generator. The only other ban is the “double falcon” list, or two named Falcon pilots in the same list. So Chewie and Lando both flying their own cloned Falcon at the same time on the same table, is not going to happen here.

You can use any pilots for the ships. For example, you can use Rey on the Millenium Falcon. The goal here is to have each game look like an old school battle between the Rebels and the Empire (so we request you bring those round dish Falcons too, but not required :)).

First round pairings are random. The Player with the lowest total initiative gets to pick which list he or she plays (add the two lists together, lowest combined squad points has initiative). Remember, same faction match-ups are not allowed. In following rounds after the first, each player will fly whichever list they have flown the least. If both players have flown their lists the same amount, then choice will once again be decided by inititave as it was in the first round.
