Greetings folks,

I'm here to announce the next big thing for Kuat Drive Yards. For those who don't know or are new here, KDYards.com is a site where you can make your own Armada content - ships, squadrons, upgrades and so on. KDYards also lets you, if you're the industrial sort, print and cut out your own cards at high resolution.

But what if you want to play with folks online using your custom content? Well, here's what this new project is all about: KDYards is coming to Tabletop Simulator.

I've started overhauling KDYards.com to support an integration with Tabletop Simulator. Using the KDY Spawner you will allow you to spawn all sorts of custom content into Tabletop Simulator. I'm still in the process of overhauling the database schema to support all sorts of cool features, such as custom paint schemes for your favorite ships in TTS, the ability to create your own Genres, Factions, Upgrade Types, Dice, and so on.

I'm also going to be launching a Patreon soon in order to help defray costs of the web-server and, frankly, KDY takes a lot of time to maintain, let alone create new features for. Rewards may include a custom 3d model for a ship of your choice, a special thanks on the KDY Spawner in tabletop simulator, and a special tag for your username on KDY.

That sounds awesome now I'm gonna have to get ttsso i can use my kty Katie why KDY ships. (I always thought it was just my talk-to-text picking up my redneck accent now I know it's not just me)

Sorry to hear you don't like TTS. Were it not for the fact that vassal can't do distributed content by way of a remote host, I'd try supporting that, too.
