Well, my characters are coming to the end of a long running campaign (I'm talking like 500 total exp here) and are about to face off against the Emperor himself, I want to make this a suitably epic fight for a party of 6, so does anyone have some stats for the Sith Master?
Say, does anyone have some stats for good old Palpitine?
Did you look at the thread literally 6 posts down from the top on this forum?

I did, AFTER I created this thread...
And that doesn't look like a beatable palps.
Why would you want to beat him? Unless this is some sort of alt-history thing.
Off the top of my head, a beatable-ish Palpatine:
Br 2, Ag 2, In 5, Cu 6, Wi 6, Pr 6
WT: 27 ST: 30 Soak: 4 Defense: 2
Skills: Deception 5, Negotiation 5, Charm 5, Coercion 5, Lightsaber 5, Knowledge (all) 4
Talents: Parry 6, Reflect 6, Improved Parry, Improved Reflect, Improved Scathing Tirade, Lightsaber Mastery (Willpower)
Abilities: Force Rating 5, Adversary 5, Dark Side Force User, then use the Inquisitor rules for Move, Unleash, and Harm. Maybe add in the Inquisitor ability that forces a fear check at the start of an encounter.
Feel free to tone down the stats a bit, but I picture a beatable Palpatine being straight up more threatening than any Inquisitor. Hence Lightsaber 5 with a stat at 6, and FR 5.

The PC's have been leading the Mandolorians to reconquer the galaxy around five years before the battle of Yavin in the main timeline, ****, they convinced Vader to join in on the nonsense for a share of the Galaxy.
It is a long and rather fun campaign. The PC group started as pirates.

Thank you, this is very helpful.

Wow, that is quite a feat. How exactly did they convince Vader to turn on his Master?

Happy to help! Hope he isn't too powerful.

Liberal use of the force, and an impossible skill check passed.

Might be because 500Xp doesn't look like a long campaign or a particular powerful group. For 500 xp just go with the inquisitor rules and sprinkle a few extra boni onto him. But give him at least FR3 to make sure that he has force lighting. And the Willpower to back his rolls up
Underachiever is guess is not bad imho. He might a little to powerful if the group does not got him in a one vs party battle ... but even alone, if you use the nemesis rules for handing out an extra turn per round, he might actually doing justice to his reputation.
One thing to not: Is Palpy not using a lightsaber style as mix between Makashi, Niman/
Jar'Kai? So maybe hand out the Presence lightsaber skill as well and maybe one goodie from the tree as well. Makashi flourish for example is nice to manage your strain and Makashi Finish is really Palpatine's style, they both fit very well to Darth Sidious lightsaber style.
Stat-line for Uncle Palpy?
Stat-line as follows:
Emperor Palpatine:
B ut you're dead now.
A lso, you're dead now.
I n case you wondered, you're dead.
C all the coroner. You're dead.
W hy'd you fight HIM?
P lease make a new character.
Skills and abilities:
Unlimited power and making you d e d dead.
ROFLMAO!!!
Unlimited power? One limit is he can't fly very well.

Oh no you didn't!

I would argue that he was staggered from his own force lightning attack. Poor dude.
That brings up the question, does the protect mastery upgrade also include status affects such as burn and ensnare or just damage? I would think just damage.

If you stop the damage you also prevent the status effects.
Thanks for the response. Sorry I was not very clear in my question. What I am wondering is if after using the protect mastery to reflect damage back to the attacker does that damage include status effects? For example lets say Darth x attacks Jedi y using unleash, hits with the attack and rolls enough force pips to include the burn and ensnare effects. Jedi y then uses protect to reduce the damage down to zero and then reflects the damage back at Darth x. Does Darth x also get ensnared and burnt?
One could define the duel between Palps and Mace Wendu as Master Wendu using Palps's own burn upgrade against him.

Yes.
