Correct me if I'm wrong, be bounty hunters are usually 3rd party. That would seem to confirm the theory that there is no scum faction per se. However, it doesn't rule out serial killers or vigilantes...not sure who to believe yet.

I still think there might be a serial killer even if Toad's meta analysis is correct.
I’m not sure what to make of any of this. Toad’s theory makes thematic sense but the suggestion of it says to me that he has a high liklihood of being a killer in the night. I think.

You’re partly right... there are definitely some among us who can kill at night, I am not one of them however
It's odd though. You would think that, as gladiators, we would all have the ability to kill. But I don't, and Toad claims not to either.

This is also under assumption there is no town or scum, which means separate win conditions, which means one of them is the endgame trigger if there is no town, thus complicating the game conditions and potential of wins

So here, Ebon refers to 'sides'. He's done so before. This points to the existence of factions. Plural. Or am I reading too much into it? People seem to basically accept Toad's theory that the game is only or largely 3rd party bounty hunters.

@Visovics... same here lol, nothing to go on so might as well keep my vote where it is outta spite
i do find it interesting that many people seemed to softly agree with my theory... which does give it some weight(everybody’s flavor matches the independent bounty hunter)
if we are a bunch of bounty hunters fighting to the last man I’m jealous of the guys who can kill cause they’re gonna have some fun
So we seem to have to choose between Vis and Toad. I have no particular leanings either way. Are there any third options? Nobody else stands out, either.
Toad is a self-confessed third-party though, and that doesn't help my cause, so I'm going to:

for now, because I must go to bed before the time is up and don't want to risk forgetting my vote.
