Ahsoka Tano side mission *Spoiler*

By IanSolo_FFG, in Imperial Assault Campaign

I don't have the booklet in front of me so if I recall correctly, it says that at the end of each round if Ahsoka is on the board we should remove her. Then there are 2 events that brings her back, basically each time a door opens (except the door leading to the computer). So I understand that Ahsoka will have no more than 3 activation for the entire mission.

Now what if the imperial player concentrates fire on her and she suffers more damage than her health points? Does she comes back whenever a mission event says "to deploy her on the black point" even though she was defeated (wounded) in a previous round?

A figure cannot suffer damage over its health. Any excess have no effect. If a (non-hero) figure suffers damage equal to its health, it is defeated and removed from the map. Allies can only be redeployed by mission events, villains cannot be redeployed in the same mission once defeated (except by mission rules).

Ahsoka is not redeployed or put into play by the events, she is placed , so her status remains from one disappearance to the next appearance, if any. So, by RAW if she has suffered damage equal to her health, she is gone from the mission. Even if you were to actually perform the place, she would appear and be immediately defeated due to having suffered damage equal to her health.
All by AFAIK, naturally.

The rebel lose condition is not dependent on Ahsoka being defeated though.

Small world! I actually played this mission last night (as Imp). However, it wasn't the most interesting mission we've played, and we found it weird in several ways... (in addition to the question you raise here)

First, the Rebs opened the 1st door in the middle of the 1st round, which robbed Ahsoka of an entire activation (since she activated first in the 1st round and was then re-"deployed" when the 1st door opened without getting her 2nd activation). This was a bit annoying since Ahsoka was clearly meant to bounce in and rock the boat 3 times in the mission. That said, the Rebs won the mission comfortably even with Ahsoka getting only two activations.

The second weirdness was that while doors remain locked while there's an "Imperial Officer" on the map, there was no mentioning of this also applying to " Imperial Officers ", and we all know how litteral one is supposed to read the missions and rules. The problem with this was that the last and crittical door was therefore not locked (since this was in the the Imperial Officer end-boss' quarters), which meant that defeating the main, named villain of the mission wasn't necessary for the Rebs to succeed. Weird and anticlimactic.

The entire mission felt a bit... dudd. Still, the Rebs got Ahsoka so things are fine :)

· Elite Deployment cards share the same name as regular
Deployment cards. When a figure is called out by name (for
example, "Stormtrooper"), this refers to both regular and elite
versions of this figure.
