I have a couple of Rebel lists that I want to try out which always involve Ackbar/Mothma/Reikaan. Never my first Admiral who I got in the core set. So I started to build it out and found if I kept things lean, I could fit every ship I own in the list! Not 100% on Objectives yet though.

Any advice is welcome, I only ask that if you have a suggestion of adding something, say what you would take out as I'm at 400 points. The limited Squadrons are there to initially hang around Yavaris protecting Dodonna until later in the game. Thanks in advance!

That's pretty cool! Here are some changes I would consider:

• On Salvation change TRC into Quad Battery Turrets [save 2 points];
• Drop Yavaris title (bear with me) [save 5 points];
• Change Nebulon-B Escort Frigate to another Support Frigate [save 6 points];
• On CR-90A, add Jaina's Light title [cost +2 points];
• Put the Bright Hope title on the GR-75 [cost +2 points]
• On GR-75, drop to Medium Transport, drop Repair Crews, add Toryn Farr [net save 3 points];
• Change the X-Wings to Shara Bey and Tycho Celchu [net cost +7 points].

That leaves you with 5 points you can spend back in however you want. Maybe put the Repair Crews back in, if that's your thing. Or you could put Boosted Comms on the Bright Hope. Or you could put the Yavaris Title back on (though, now you need a token to activate both squadrons).

Keep Toryn Farr and the A-Wings close to Dodonna. They will do better to hold off enemy squadrons than just 2 X-Wings will.

The X-Wings get to roll 4 blue dice twice, for a total of 16 blue dice without modifications. The A-Wings get to roll 3 blue dice twice, plus 2-3 dice each time they are attacked. Let's assume they are each attacked once (unlikely but possible). That is 6+6+3+2 = 17 blue dice with 6 rerolls in there.

Couple of notes-

First off, MC30's are better with the titles. I would find room to make both of them titled ships.

I agree with dropping Yavaris title and changing it to a support Neb. It's a pretty big point investment for 2 squads that are going to bite the dust probably turn 3. Salvation/support Neb retrofit on the other hand is a good title with Dodonna. Maybe look to there, and turn the GR75 into the squad pusher.

Repair crews as well is a very bad upgrade. The range is too short for it to be effective, it will end up not getting used or causing you to ram yourself far too often.

Finally, Nebulons are notoriously flimsy. The admiral will probably be safest on Admonition after you add the title to that MC30.

Thanks for that input guys. I will readjust my list and post it tomorrow. I would like Admon title in if I could, and I have seriously considered going down to 5 ships to add some meat on. Also, I don't own Rebel 1+2 squadrons, only Core, Imp 1 and R&V, but both Rebel fighter packs are on the shopping list (along with Imp 2, another R&V, MC30, etc.....).

Put Dodonna on a Jaina's Light CR90 as well

I wouldn't put bright hope on a naked transport, and while there is room for jainas, I think in this case the 2pt bid is a good idea just so you have a chance at first.

Im so far past the days of being able to use every ship i own. Even if i keep things lean.....

Can you find room for Redemption (or Yavaris), Jaina's Light, and Quantum Storm? Dropping the TRCs for QBT and DTT, respectively, gives you J.L. and Q.S. with 1 point left towards R. or Y.

I was thinking mc30s only for this fleet you could get without really sacrificing function.

Yavaris with less than probably 70 pts in squads will end up being useless most of the game and Redemption is just a bad title. IMO i would that one at the bottom of your storage bin and not pull it out until wave 14 when tanking becomes as good as damage dealing and tank fleets stand a prayer of a chance.

Quantum storm is nifty with slicer tools to get it in position but otherwise pretty bad.

Bright Hope is great when it is protecting something valuable (toryn far or bomber command are notable) but on a naked transport it isnt quite needed.

Jainas Light is great, especially when you sit your Admiral in the cr90. No defense for not adding it, other than the fact that if you have even a small shot at it you want to go first. If you want to go up to 400, then Jainas can only help.

I could probably put DTT on my cr90 and keep it at long range just peppering with 2 or 3 shots ( Dodonna would be on it now after all), but I put trc on there as standard to hopefully use Dodonnas ability. Same for the Neb title, but thinking about it now, if I took the title off, I could keep TRC's on to generate the same effect, but that then exhausts my only evade token. Hmmmm. The question I have then is: -

CR90: -TRC's or DTT?

Neb B: -Salvation and TRC's, or one or the other? Also QBT???

Any points saved would go towards a bid or maybe Lando???

The GR75 is a sacrificial lamb/AA platform lol. This could go for a YT2400??? But only if I had a bid.
