No need for a 3rd ship that gives out 13 points of MOV. Kill a ship or half a large ship and run/play safe. MOV doesn’t matter for the System Opens, but points certainly do.
Edited by Tbetts94There is a huge assumption inherent in this list that you're not going to meet a PS10 turret. Surely TLT Rebel Nym will eat that Whisper for breakfast? Or a PS10+ Alpha strike list?
I guess it's fine of your plan is just to never hit your hard counters, but those hard counters are... Not exactly uncommon right now?

Whisper Kallus’ Nym and she’s more than fine. Imperial PS10 alpha that can actually be mobile yeah, that can be a problem. The rebel PS10 Alpha I can outmaneuver.

You reckon? Nym is shooting before Whisper cloaks - rolling three hits (which isn't exactly uncommon with a TLT) is a guaranteed damage in an uncloaked Whisper. You could keep her cloaked and hope Kylo kills Nym, or rely on an evade token and hope you never roll a blank evade die, but it's not something I'd be comfortable with in this meta, personally.

You keep Whisper away where she's got either 2 Green Dice plus Evade token, or 3 Green Dice plus evade token. She has a "focus" for both TLT shots. He's gonna sneak one in, but you don't necessarily decloak until you think you're in a good spot anyways to just nuke him. It's a patient game, but not an unwinnable one. I've seen Whisper with a PS0 Crit win versus a pretty full double tapping TLT Ghost.

I would die by turn 4 with it

I really like the list. But how do you fly these guys? I’ve no idea how to setup and engage...

I wanted to, just with the wedding planning and everything couldn’t fork out the money for it. Next year! I could had gone to the Glendale System Open but was first week of tax season, so no way I could get off.

I took this list to a small tournament today.instead of primed thrusters I used adv. Optics.
With 4-1 the tournament went surprisingly good. Most of my opponents underestimated Whisper especially ps 10-11. Kallus really was a game changer against high PS pilots.
With the release of Krennic the list has even more potential.

With Krennic the 1.0 OP condition is redundant with FCS, are you planning to switch the system to sensor Jammer?
With the upcoming Director Krennic, which system upgrade would you take for Echo. Advanced sensor seems obvious, but so does sender jammer or collision detector.

With Kylo as a Wingman i don't think so cause of all the unlimited action nonsense flying around these days. Adv. Sensors is better because Whisper doesn't like bumping.
I'm using Sensor Jammer in my other list right now (https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/277953-eclipsed-echoes-or-how-i-stopped-worrying-about-whisper/) cause Vermeil makes sure that the enemy ships are losing their tokens.
