Rookie Allcomers list (feedback pls)

Hello gentlemen,

my first runs with other lists gave me a lot of feedback (like a bloody nose does) and it looks like I need to have a single list to practice with and get some feeling for it. Therefore the list tries to have an answer to a lot of things other players can throw at me and make the match interesting for both players but I am absolutly unsure about objectives. Would be glad to have some feedback!

The Plan was...

A) to give the Nebulons an engineering and squad token and throw 2x3 Sqauds at the enemy at round 2. With the help of massive flak fire they should be able to start bombing soon.

B) The rogues and the CR90 should try to get some objectives or kill some exposed ships on their own while the x-wings hold enemy fighters in place and live forever. In this case the Nebulons get a navigation and an engineering token in the first round.

In either case the assault frigate goes ahead and gets a lot of engineering tokens with ashoka to withstand some damage.

Any other ideas?

Nebulons aren't the ship you are looking for to have a well balanced and forgiving fleet for a newer player.

They are the opposite. They are about as difficult and unforgiving a ship as you can get.

Additionally, Garm is really great with the mc80, but not sure he is maximized here.

You might be better off with a frigate, 3x trc cr90s, a flotilla with coms net, and dodonna or mothma.

I agree about the Nebulons. If you decide to stick with them, you might consider Quad Battery Turrets (if you have either the Hammerhead or Arquitens expansions). Also, the Salvation title is pretty amazing. Maybe try one of those with Salvation and 2x CR-90a with TRC.

As for your squadrons... If you are planning to push squadrons with ships, then you don't need rogue. You can change Rogue Squadron (which lacks escort) to another X-Wing (which has escort). Furthermore, I have tried Ketsu Onyo several times, and have found her lacking. Put in Shara Bey instead, and use the other 5 points for something else. Or, if you can fit him in, Dash Rendar does what Ketsu does, only better (rogue, same speed, better attacks, more health).

I only have two CR90s and the nebulon is somewhat iconic plus I like the anti-squadron ability in our squadron heavy enviroment. I switched to the following:

I know can push squadrons with the flotilla and concentrate on navigating/ shooting with the Nebulon Or would it be more helpful to keep the Nebulon as a carrier and feed tokens with the flotilla?

Looks better.

Salvation is hit or miss without modification and the assailt frigate gunnery teams and an exhaust dice modification upgrade so two bad throws in a row and you are gonna be stuck.

Maybe DTT on salvation instead of support officer on the assault frigate? Adding SFO which is a slighlty lesser effect but accomplishes much the same and DTT puts you at 398 and will help prevent aggravation at all the red blanks.
