Nice, that has always been a deterrent to signing up for these, so its good to know that normal communication generally takes place! That and time haha. Who would have thought making time for 1.5 hrs a week would be so hard.
Signed up but never played IA on Vassal before. Anyone have a tutorial video or something?
Worth noting for new players: you can use your iOS or Android smartphone with the Discord & Skype apps to voice chat.

Edited by nickv2002The new firefox update seemed to break Discord voice (or Discord broke firefox support) a few weeks back. Chrome seemed to work when I switched on short notice.

Big shout out to @TheWelcomeMat88 for the closest skirmish game I've ever played (40-38) last night on Vassal. He endured some absolute ridiculous luck on my part to make it a nail-biter, slug fest on Jabba's Spoils of Crime mission. It was a New Wookies vs. Emperor/Maul match up that really could have gone either way but it was a great example of the kind of fun you can have participating in the Reddit IA Tourneys . Season 4 will be wrapping up soon, so you should be making plans to sign up for the next one. It's great practice and lots of fun!
That's very kind of you- yeah it was quite epic, came down to Chewie and Gideon vs Emperor and a Jet at the end. I probably took too long to make decisions at times, but I think every move you made put me in a tough spot lol. And I agree- sign up for the next one, and if you are new to Vassal I or someone else is gladly willing to walk you through learning the ropes (it's really not bad!)! People like @leacher are super nice and fun to play with. Whether you are running your own super competitive list or just trying out something fun, it's a great way to get games in with people literally all over the world!
