YAY!!! It came today. I am excited..but i need advice...

I need some advice. The game came today and it looks AMAZING. I am a huge fan of TI3 and preeordered this within minutes of it being announced. I am so excited to play when I visit family for the holidays. The hardcover rulebook is incredible and I love that it is signed.

The reason I need advice is the game shipped with a damaged box and insert. Everything else is fine. I have never ever had any issues with components or damage FFG games before (and I buy a ton of their products). I assume damage is from handling at the warehouse or shipping. It looks like someone dropped it on the corner. The rulebooks, components, and extras are all fine... but that beautiful box has both pieces damaged. The inside Piece is even riped all the way up the side. both peices have a whole corner badly smashed. I looked on the website and it looks like they dont replace box or insert damage... told to return it to the place you got it from. I ordered it from FFG!!!

I dont want to make a big deal out of it since it doesnt affect the game in anyway. It just sucks that i spent this much on a game to recieve the box all messed up. I would hate to have to send the entire game back and wait forever to get a new one, especially since I was planning on playing it next weekend. I am holding off on punching anything out though until i get some advice. I can post photos to show the extent of it if needed. Should I call them or just let it go.....? Please help.

There’s not much advice we here can give other than contact customer service and see what they say. Your the only one who can decide whether the damage is worth whatever they say to do to fix it.

Do you think they will help since I got it from them? On their website it says they do not replace damaged boxes or inserts...

Does the extra stuff come in the box or separately? I need to know please.

To your problem. FFG has ALWAYS replaced everything that was missing or that was damaged without asking anything.

I was extremely impressed with FFG customer services. I called them this morning and got it all resolved. The extra stuff shipped in the same box but inside of that box there were two boxes... once containing the extras and the game box.

Mine came in two separate boxes (one big one for the game, one small one with the promo media), packaged together inside a single large package with some bubblewrap and butcher paper for cushioning.

I was about to say, I've only heard good things about their customer service. Good to know it's still going.
