Prancing/Riverdancing Poe

To be more clear explicit:

1) Perform some arbitrary maneuver.
2) If you avoid bumps, obstacles, and getting anything in arc, the astromech lets you boost or roll. In this case I boost.

3) Perform your action: Daredevil.
4) You just performed a maneuver. If you didn't bump, hit an obstacle, or get anything in arc, perform a boost or roll (whichever of the two you didn't perform earlier).

In the image linked above, you've just positioned similar to performing a 1-speed Tallon Roll (though requiring a lot more maneuvering space). But at every step above save for your initial maneuver, you choose direction at the time of activation. Your boost/roll, Daredevil, and 2nd boost/roll let you respond to where foes are positioned thanks to Poe's high pilot skill.

So instead of flipping completely around, you could weave around some asteroids and get up behind a foe. Or activate the astromech once and get in a good position, then spend your action focusing. Essentially you can choose a conservative maneuver (e.g. clear stress), and then perform up to 3 repositions to get something in arc, all chosen at your PS instead of the planning phase.

Whether it's as good for Poe as Intensity will require testing.

Yeah, I think testing is the only thing to do here!

I think it might be more viable if that new Tech card is in fact a focus token version of comm relay

Well, if using Daredevil then the tech slot needs to be spent on Primed Thrusters. Otherwise I would combine the focus version of comm relay with VI.

Not necessarily; sure, you miss out on one barrel roll/boost, but getting a green maneuver, a barrel roll/boost and a white 1 turn is still excellent
