Noticed today that waves 12 and 13 were marked as being "on the boat' on October 4th. Anyone have any idea when they will be released?

Sometime between after the movie is released and mid summer.

Hopefully by the time of TLJ. It would make sense in the release schedule, and make us all really happy.

Well, what usually happens to me is I make a huge order online and it all comes in AFTER Christmas when I have to go back to work instead of being here FOR Christmas when I have time to play and be a kid with it all.

My thinking is one week before to two weeks after TLJ.

We all know that it will show up when it shows up. "On the boat" doesn't necessarily mean at sea. We also don't know how long the vessel is in port before it's unloaded.

Thursday would be great for arrival at the FLGS but that ain't happening this week.

Though, I've been thinking we could probably get the wave a bit early if we really tried. All we need is the location of the Boat, some Ion Pulse missiles, and a couple dozen bulk freighters ...

It may not take that much. Location, shipping container ID number, a boat large enough to carry the box and a crane. The problem is we would be considered pirates, open to arrest, prosecution and imprisonment. If it's a Chinese flagged ship, you can add getting shot, either during the attempt or afterward. All things considered, I'll wait.

Here's my best guess, and I am pretty much the best in the universe when it comes to guessing about things.

October 4th - November 22nd: On the boat.

November 22nd - December 5th: Shipping to stores but delayed by Thanksgiving.

December 5th: In stores.

The last two years the release of ships for The Force Awakens and Rogue One has coincided with the cinematic release of the films, while the other ships announced in their respective waves were released at a later date.

This year, FFG have stated that the ships from The Last Jedi and the ships in Wave 12 are being released together.

Make of that what you will.

My son likes to point out that his birthday is December 13 when mentioning waves 12-13.

We put all the ships he won plus the one he got as a gift from my boss and that was a crazy pile, he doesn't us to -buy- him more! He's about to turn 8 and he has 3 k-wings (yes, THREE), imperial vets, guns for hire, an interceptor, and a scurgg. His luck is ridiculous at dice based participation prize drawing.

He's getting LEGO things this year. Still, knowing his luck, it'll probably land close to his birthday and he'll simply win them all...

It would make the most sense for it to show up just in time for Christmas. To capitalize on people wanting something under the tree or in their stockings.

I don't want a GUNBOAT in my stocking, dammit, that would be like stepping on LEGO, but emotionally painful as well as physically.

I'm hoping for Christmas or soon enough before it.

I am not counting on it until Jan or Feb.

The distro's for my LGS have now earmarked a 'mid-december' availability, and apparently they are ahead of schedule in terms of its original release date.

I was hoping they would be out by black friday. but I think by movie premier is way more realistic.
