Liberty model on a Home One base

By schmidty1701, in Star Wars: Armada

Is it wrong to use a Liberty model on aHome One base. Obviously I couldn't do this for a Tourney, but they are both MC80s, and I love the look of the Liberty SO much more than the Home One.

If it's just for a casual game and your opponent doesn't mind then I don't see why not.

For a tournament this would be shady, because of the completely different arcs on the two ships. For any other setting you can do what you want if your other player agrees.

IT IS INTRINSICALLY EVIL!!! DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!

I mean, anything is ok if it's agreed upon.

For example, playing star wars armada, only to encounter the Enterprise is engaging you. Closeing range and use boarding troopers only to find the ship infested with "Aliens" and now you gotta play an IA minigame to fend them off from taking over the ship while still fighting the Enterprise.

Actually this sounds fantastic...

That really does sound pretty cool.

FFG Game Integrity Enforcement Team to battle stations! This is not a drill! All hands prepare for immediate deployment!

If you are using the Home One rules and just representing it with a Liberty model, that's fine by me. It's really the card and base that govern the rules, the ships is just an aesthetic.

Well....I guess that would let me do something with those xenomorph miniatures I bought to paint...
