To be honest, I don't understand folks who so vehemently object against its existance. Nobody forces them to buy it. Having more options is always nice, and nobody has to take ALL options.
For example, I dislike the looks of the Aussie Truck, and think that a wooden plane propelled by magic dust to float around has nothing to do in space. I just won't buy it and case closed for me. Those who have it, I wish an enjoyable play with it.

Your not liking the visual aesthetic of the Auzituck is perfectly valid, and not buying it is a rational reaction. However, I wish people would stop perpetuating the idea that the ship is made of wood. It has wooden paneling on the inside. The a-wing has had wooden paneling on a control panel. By the same facetious reasoning applied to the auzitick, the a-wing is therefore made of wood. Reports as to if it weighs the same as a duck are unsubstantiated as well.

Hey, it was just my attempt at being sarcastic. Of course I don't think the outer hull is made of wood.
We'll have to wait for the Ewok Glider Expansion Pack for that to happen.
