Sloane Imperial List HELP!

Can you tell me everything wrong with this list? I am kind of new and would like to not only know what is wrong, but also why it is wrong.

To activate this many squadrons, Id swap the cruiser to a quasar, with Flight controllers, expanded hangar and boosted comms. With the squads youll deactivate brace first, but most of the times other defense tokens will be untouched. For this reason, I would try to squise in an x17 to avenger to maximise damage to hull.

I've used a similar fleet to this with Cooldands suggestion of a Quasar to aid getting all the squadrons to activate.

If you wish to keep the Arquitens then it would be nice to get TRCs on it. A slow Arquitens can quickly become a dead Arquitens so QBTs can backfire.

I don't bother with Dengar as he is expensive and Tie-Is locked in combat with squadrons are usually in just the place they want to be anyway. the Counter(1) on the escort fighters is nice but Sontir Fel might get you more damage. If you keep Dengar then Mauler looks tempting.

I was thinking of moving dengar, because he is so expensive, and maybe putting engine techs on the Arquitens?

I don't know about the quasar though, It seems to die MUCH quicker than a well played Arquitens.

I agree with the quasar sentiment, maybe add a stronghold to make those fighters and interceptors tougher to kill.

The squads themselves, I feel, are a good Loadout. My main comment is that the double advances keep your fighters and interceptors from using impressive swarm counters. Perhaps keep howl and dengar back with a single advance to keep them safe from being jumped and keep the other advance in the front with the rest. The forward advance allows the rest to stage and once that falls your opponent will have to fight through all of that counter

I’d drop the generic ties for all interceptors. With Dengar you get to shoot & then get a free 3 dice counter shot if anyone else attacks.

If you really want 2 escorts you could exchange one for Black squadron. Not as tough but is still a cheap meat shield while your interceptors & howlrunner chew up the enemy.

I think this looks pretty good (although I also think a Quasar would be smart.) If you do choose to keep the Arq, I'd consider dropping Hand of Justice. It's not a bad title or anything, but it doesn't feel like it's doing much for your specific list when you could be running Boosted Comms on your ISD to help with Squad commands, which it will need to do if you go Quasarless. Actually, I'd worry about command range in general; fitting a Lambda in could really help those Gozantis out. The Centicore title would be another interesting option, for a lot cheaper. Dropping an Advanced lets you upgrade an interceptor into Ciena Ree, who when buffed to counter 4 is an absolute nightmare. Just food for thought.:)
