Yes Please, Origins is great.

Would love to see Aus, SE Asia, Western Europe, Russia, UK, South America? (Mexico maybe?), 2 Canada.
My fav event in the X-Wing calendar FINALLY officially announced.
Got the hotel booked already for the UK one. Will be going for the ticket with the mat this year as I decided against it last year and then regretted it big time.
Can't wait!
What are the rules for hanger bay? Distinct or something else?
Uhm. Those rewards really look snazzy.
Is damage deck basically the same as the regionals participation prize?
Hanger Bay Rules Question. In the description, they state: " As with previous years, you have the option to bring two squads and select your favorite after you see your opponent's available squads. If you bring two squads, however, they must adhere to the "Skilled Rule," which states that the printed pilot skill values of your pilots must be different from list to list."
Does anyone know the specifics of this? Does it simply mean that I can't have a PS 9 (without VI or Adaptability) in both lists? Or does it mean I can't have a natural PS 9 in one list and also can't have a PS 7 with VI in the other? I assume that you could still have multiple of the same PS within one of your lists.

Labor Day weekend. So outside the announced scope. They don't have the gaming infrastructure currently to run something like this anyway. It's gotten bigger the last few years but it's still a relatively small part of the Con.
As it says PRINTED pilot skill, I would say VI and such do not affect the rule.
What it means is you can't have Vader in one list and PS9 Poe in your other. Usually the rule is you can't take the same faction, but each year they have changed it up a bit. This is the latest version.
Good job FFG. You’ve announced system open stuff, but no official announcement for international regionals

Aren't most still within their request deadlines? I mean that's crazy in itself anyway but yeah...
Really! 3 days notice for the event on the east coast? Perish the thought that people have jobs and have to schedule time off in advance.

Been wondering about that for a while. Would like to know prizes too..
But System Open looks so good, though green shield tokens are a bit meh to be honest.
Hopefully they announce more Opens soon so I could plan a trip to one of the European ones.

We've got one this weekend here and no one knows anything about the kit.

Thanks. That's how I was interpreting, but wasn't sure if I was missing something (or they had used this sometime prior where there are further details).
Bologna and Hannover. Looks cool to me. More infos about the event themselves would be cool, because a link to the hotels involved most certainly does not cut ticket registrations and planning.

Are you going?
Verdun, QC, Omaha, NE and Norton, MA all have Regionals listed for March 24.
Wonder if that impacts anybody who might want to attend the event at Adepticon in Chicago March 22-25?

Real Xwing fans listen to podcasts and should have known awhile ago that PAX Unplugged had one. But yeah, the announcement for that should have came a lot sooner.

I originally planned to but I can't make it due to work reasons =(

We have like a dozen nationals each year. Come over for one of those instead.
german, belgian, dutch and french nationals are all similar or even bigger than the european system open events. The polish nationals iirc as well, while the hungarian, czech/slovak ones are a little bit smaller. No idea about the italian and spanish ones.

Ooh sorry mate... I had to organize a family trip with my wife and 2 kids to be able to go but I'll be there

That way you can spend thanksgiving and the holidays with your family and possibly be allowed to spend a little bit of your tax return on this venture.
oh of course! the idea was to bring them along for the week and just give me a day to nerd out and push little plastic ships around. Not like I'm getting out of the bottom 10 tables anyways. From Canada tho, almost all of them are in the $1200-$1500 range per person.
