Don't give up just yet FW. They still have more events to announce. Seattle may still get one.

Way more participation/door prizes than usual. Some you have to stick around for, but who doesn't want to play more X-Wing?

Hyperspace Qualifier:

Bossk pilot card (played round 1)
Dengar pilot card (played round 2)
IG-88B pilot card (played round 3)

Those are just the bare minimum for playing games both days. You get way more bang for your buck just for playing games this time, so awesome!

All the alt art character images for the Bounty Hunters are the same ones used for Imperial Assault! Hah.

Yeah what was it 2.5% of decks at worlds? I'm not much of a fan of Bara (particulalarly the passive power gain builds), because you know, I like it when I actually get to play the game. Still it's never good to see a faction essentially absent from the game. Even our die-hard Bara players are jumping ship to other factions.

I'm trying to build a Bara deck that abuses the Highgarden Courtier (because that card is stupidly good) to just smash-face with Bob. The problem is, I just end up building a Tyrell or Greyjoy Deck that takes advantage of it instead (Greyjoy Banner Rose is disgustingly good atm).

But none of that has anything to do with the X-wing system open

Holy heck you come away with a lot of goodies from these, even if you don't do that well.

The art on the Mandalore play-mat looks a bit dissapointing, I love my "Tattoine Open" Mat (so beautiful), but this is a bit meh.. (which is a good thing I guess as I already have 3 FFG maps by now LOL)

Yeah, the mat's the only slight disappointment for me. I really liked that the individual Opens had specific planets, I'm not really sold on just a single mat for the whole year - I'm happy with my Yavin 17, I don't need more than one.

Makes it easier for me to try and pick up that specific one though, since I haven't made it to a system open. And the fact it's Mandalore is fine by me.

I just need to save for Adepticon or hope one comes out closer... The coruscant invitational is my neck of the woods so I'm concerned they won't also have a system open here.

I would love to see one in Australia, have friends who live there and are DIE HARD fans. I have until March to work whatever magic i can with the wife to make it to Adepticon.

DTP- depends on which event you want to go to.

You'll definitely need to get a ticket in advance, and most of these events aren't on sale yet. Best to keep an eye out on FFG's official channels for annoucements.

Depends on the event. Ticketing information will be out nearer the time but you'll almost certainly have to book in advance and depending on the event concerned, you might also have to buy a con ticket.

For the Invitational, it's by invitation only, so you have to be invited. Usually by placing at an open.
