Otherwise, you need to start looking at agents of the Empire, like Mara Jade in the Jade's Fire, above. Or Doctor Aphra while she worked with Vader, some bounty hunters, and the like. At that point, it's probably easier to just create a "Merc for Hire" mechanic to go ahead and steal from S&V.

God I hope not, that thing is all kinds of ugly. It looks like an Ugly, actually, like the artist traced on TIE/v1 wings onto something else, and then the colorist forgot to keep the glossy finish up on the whole ship so it looks like the shiny front end is a different piece from the center.

I don't think shuttles have much more design space to distinguish themselves, personally. Incorporating huge ship actions/slots is a cool idea, but not very sustainable when the only difference between a Lambda and a Sentinel is the Jam action or some such thing.

I'm hoping for a scum YT-1300 in wave 13. Double crew slots for Jabba (how ironic) and accurate pricing on the pilots. I believe there is a popular family f pilots that took to the YT-1300 in the old EU that could be used fairly well for this.

For Rebels I'm looking forward to the almost inevitable RZ-2 A-wing, hopefully with the "gimballed cannons" worked in as a title mechanic that lets you fire outside your firing arc on a target you have locked.

For Imperials I'm hoping for something of the wall. The Chiss Clawcraft would be fantastic, or TIE droids. I'd settle for an FO bomber if it came down to it though.

I didn’t say it was pretty or that I liked it. I’m just saying it’s now Vader’s ship, in the new canon, during the rise of the Empire.

I actually would like a boarding mechanic(at least for Epic) and the ship for the job is the Atmospheric Assault Lander!

Imperial Agent/Spy, something like that, similar to "Captured TIE" maybe.

I'd hope for a turret slot, two crew slots, and five titles to cover all the variants, maybe leaning towards extra ion tokens the way the Lancer-class pursuit craft builds give out extra tractor beam tokens.

Most of these variants are not very different. I think they could be resumed in 2 or 3 titles (one focused in ordinance, one with low-cost cannon and one with system).

It would come with the first pilot cards you had to flip over to see all the upgrade icons - they'd run out of room on the front

Just to much shuttle in there. The last thing Imperials need is another one of those. IMO now that it is canon (Vader had one) the best candidate for a large ship would be the Sith Infiltrator. Maybe we could get our own unique version of Maul with it?

So I know people have been against airspeeders...... BUT... I just saw footage of T-47 Snowspeeders take down Tie Bombers, Tie Fighters.... Its over.... I want snow speeders in X-Wing Miniatures!
