Potential TLJ spoiler?

By FlyingAnchors, in X-Wing

So while out and about today I noticed the Revell's The Last Jedi A-wing model kit. Now as I still have a ROTJ Bandai one to put together, I didn't buy it, but I did happen to notice a distinctive shape in the background.....

Those are Definitely not BS/F-17s... which appears to me their B-wings with closed foils. :D

Here's hoping that's the case and FFG has been holding off giving some more love to these two ships after the movie comes out.

could just be a case of the artist using an existing computer model when creating the background, rather than make a new one off scanty details. given the relative size and the positioning, it is clearly meant to evoke the BS/F-17's from the trailer.

We do know from TFA there is a B-Wing Mk II, though.

Also, the TIE's in that pic are Empire. Disappointing. Would have loved if B-wings were in TLJ

You’re overthinking this one. LFL is tight-lipped with their merchandise licensees to prevent leaks. They give just enough information to get products on shelves before a movie, and sometimes the result is products that don’t match the films.

This guy http://www.starwars.com/databank/c2-b5 was an Imperial astromech that was merchandised before Rogue One, and didn’t even appear in the film.

Don’t think too hard about the promotional stuff, especially blurry images in the backdrop of the actual product they’re trying to sell you.

forget the astromech how about jyn in imperial outfit....

It will be so interesting to see the directors cuts

The non FO ties in the background give me doubt that this means something.

Revell also used the ANH Death Star Reder for the backdrop in their Silencer kit.
Just re use of existing graphics.
