[V. Important] What is the Flight Assist Astro plugged into?

By Babaganoosh, in X-Wing

oh good god

I'd say it's a spoiler.

If not, is it Saw Gerrera's black X-wing then?

Rogue One X-wing fix confirmed?

Maybe a new type of A wing?

I just wish it had a more generic name, like R4 or something.

It’s definitely a spoiler.

I wish people would mark threads that contain spoilers ...

Spoiler: It's an Xwing

I'll have to watch the artists I follow that do FFG stuff on deviantart and see if this droid shows up. I'm 99% sure though that you're looking at the back of the cockpit of a T65 which would look like a spoiler if the glass was clear...

Seriously; what is that astromech plugged into? I can't figure it out for the life of me. My best guess is that it's in a speeder. Please help.

I'm an interpreter. How am I supposed to know a power socket from a computer terminal??

It does kinda look like some kind of speeder, but I honestly think it's a mediocre drawing of the canopy of a Partisan X-Wing.

Nah, it's a spoiler.

A cloakshape variant

I made an X-Wing stat block for one of these. Is it balanced? Probably not, it's for Scum

I'm actually more and more convinced that it is an x-wing, with a weirdly drawn cockpit

It's an X-Wing with really bad canopy proportions.

OH ITS A PUMBLOOM!!

do you remember when ash caught a pumbloom?.....

Oh my god. I thought you were trolling when you weren't convinced.

Yeah it's absolutely an X-Wing.

Pretty sure this is correct but it's missing a sloped line at the top left to represent the rest of the canopy as seen in this pic.

It looks like a spoiler because it just stops at the corner where it should slope toward the nose of the ship.

I can see what you're saying and it does look kinda janky.

100% an X-wing though. @Captain Lackwit is right.

My two cents, yeah that's an X-Wing alright, but the real issue isn't the clear glass, it's how the "glass" would be at a 90 degree angle compared to the fuselage. On all of the models and art, it's clear that the back window is on a curve. If the metal window panes were on an incline, it wouldn't look so janky.

It's not 90 degree on an Xwing.

I don't even like X-Wings much but I know them enough to know the angle is a 45 degree one. Here. Have a film shot.

I think you guys missed was that that's what he's saying. It LOOKS like it's a straight perpendicular panel, it should LOOK like it's inclined.

All the angles are fine, technically speaking. They’re just /all/ covered up, so you can’t complete the mental picture properly.

The part to the right of the droid is clearly from an x-wing, though; I’d recognize it from the Lego sets any day ?

It’s an El Camino with a lawn mower and an Astromech in the back.

I think it's just an Xwing, but they never got around to finishing the artwork. It looks like a rough digital model of an Xwing that they didn't bother to finish.

Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure most of us saying it's a speeder or something do realize that it's supposed to be an X-Wing; we're just making fun of how non-X-Wing it looks.
