So... if you have Extra Munitions, and choose Chopper to discard an ordinance, he would discard first the ordinance token, right?

friend of mine just pointed out that Chopper can discard the BTL-a4 title if you're sick of your Y-wing being arc-locked

And only if the ship's still there in between Mira moving and Fenn moving. The whole point of ASLAM bombing is to do it BEFORE the opponent moves.

Giving Fenn Adaptability so he can let Mira drop bombs at PS8 might be worthwhile, but I doubt it.

Extra Munitions, Guidance Chips, Bomb Loadout, and EM tokens on EM and BL are five. You might want to drop BTL-A4 after the initial pass, so that's six, and you are left with two bombs, which you can also convert into shields...

I don't put much stock into the article text given the near constant rules errors :(

but I do find it absolutely hilarious that you got Chopper absolutely tearing through all these Y-wing features in a desperate attempt to keep it space-worthy

if only the named Ys had epts, AGH!

Chopper seems likely to fit the ARC best. Lots of upgrades, and more or less all of them can be cheap or free now, with the Courier Droid available.

But I have grave doubts about action-regen. If it was going to be workable, GONK would already have made it workable.

I just love how thematic it is for Chopper to be tearing all of these things up in order to jury-rig his repairs on your ship.

I know they only have like 1 or 2 folks over on each of these elements and many of the employees wear different hats between multiple games even, but yeah I am starting to think there are two different ideas behind the future of X-wing and not a cohesive plan.

well gonk isn't immediate, tbf

problem with Chopper ARC is that all that ARC's upgrades a.) cost points and b.) are necessary to the ship's functionality. Without its crew and astro, it just kinda sucks.

the Y-wing doesn't have these issues because you can just slap bomb loadout and throw it away without consequence whatsoever

edit: we did all mention that we discard Extra munitions and bomb loadout twice, right? they both get EM tokens

I think it's probably best to attack, get the heck out of there and out of range to do a Chopper action, then come back around to reengage.

The hilarity of this with EM is great, too. EM/Seismic Torp/Seismic Charge. Tonnes of regen.

But each one costs you an action which you're not using to a: kill stuff or b: survive stuff killing you, so... meh.

between EM and bomb loadout, you have four Chopper charges

it's like paying for r5-p9, though, so really it's more for hilarity than actual effectiveness

Maul can clear stress during the combat phase, so Jan Ors can use her ability twice!

(not applicable to any serious list.. just something I wanted to do since the very first list I came up with and flew, Wedge-Biggs-Jan)

Hm, so you could also get a focus token via Kyle Katarn during combat, by using Maul.. clearing stress? :)

I need that on Jakes A-Wing :D for another boost or barrel roll.

Interesting.

Maul basically has two abilities, I didn't catch that at first.

I think getting rid of stress without using a green maneuver is far more valuable than the reroll ability.

If the ship that Maul is in hits its target, then it loses the stress.
