Ezras the new stress bot with EPT. Protect with lowhhrick? Ap-5 is good with just Inspiring Recruit
jesus christ, what DOESN'T zeb fly?
apparently just the VCX
No X-Wing fix here... Courier Droid is a crew and Chopper is unique (and best on ships with tons of upgrades).
Edit; oops! Missed this guy. Is he useful?
oh god the 0 point astromech tease!
though I do find it hilarious the chopper can integrate integrated astromech. It's the inverse X-wing fix!!!!
Found the thing wrong in this article....Dash uses small ship barrel roll......Do I get a cookie????

in my opinion, it's
absolute trash
meh because of how incredibly situational it is.
HOWEVER
it's
LEAGUES
better than R3 (yeah, don't think I'll ever forgot that steaming pile of bantha poodu)
so the one big use I see for FAA is against drop-on-activation bombs, as it allows you to disengage and then boost to clear the predicted blast radius. It's very good for that, at least, and for re-configuring your arc on a high PS pilot to get a shoot without action cost. Small issue being that high PS pilots will generally want something more useful in the astro slot
apart from the hilarity of Chopper, this expac is a massive miss for me. Nothing stands out as predictably powerful, other than the stressbug Ezra everyone and their one-eye, blind dog could have predicted (r3-a2 gunner)
PS: if we ever get a reload astromech ship, oh baby Chopper could be amazing
Edited by ficklegreendiceThis could make a tough squad, really super tough....synergies at such a super-cheap price. Rebel’s are a shoe-in for top squads in 2018 now that Attani is nerfed.

thing with attani is you put it on ships that did other things, like actual damage
only manaroo could've been conceived as a pure support ship (ignore her amazing blocking potential and annoying PWT), but even then she was so absolutely borked that it didn't matter
Shiny. But no dial
BTL-A4 Ywings with Flight Astromech have the potential to be interesting.
It's nice seeing yet another Rebel and Scum only upgrade. /s
THE T-65 IS SAVED. Mission accomplished

Fickle, I don't know what the **** you're smoking. Giving PS11 Wedge a boost or barrel roll when he's often going to most want it as a free action for one point is goddamn nuts. With this droid you can now make a legitimate 31 point Wedge that your opponent is going to have to answer, because if they don't he'll rip them to pieces. Whom you can also now give a coordinate focus or TL with stress clear for as little as 15 points.
It's also going to be amazing on BTL Y-wings.
I do think that the droid is just one part of a larger X-wing fix that is inbound, and this card is just the first part of that, same with integrated astro. Because otherwise they would have put two in the box.
I'm not smoking, I'm reading all the hoops you have to jump through for a marginal benefit that doesn't modify your dice. Don't get your hopes up, Wedge is cool but he's still just going to get blown away by all the turrets that still exist. Don't matter how neat his little situational boost antics are when he's staring down Rackylo, for example
But you want to know what's actually cool?
Chopper can discard Score to Settle
Chopper is such a goddamn boss that he can fix your ship and resolve your personal issues
at the same time
Chopper can give an Xwing a 2 point shield upgrade with Seismic Torpedoes, or if you have an EPT you can get a 1 point or even free shield. Then still pop him with IA, o r Chopper can make Guidance Chips useful after firing a torpedo, lessening the effect of not taking IA.
On a Ywing you can discard a bomb load out, guidance chips and even BTL for 3 extra shields for only 1 point. (if you get the actions)

At least we can put Courior Droids on Dormitz.

I think it might be. It's not game-breaking, don't get me wrong. But I think it compares fairly favorably to R2 Astromech. If I was running 4X-Z or T-280, I think I'd want to give this guy a try.
First of all, that's a fantastic article, they've shown everything ( except for the dial), welcome change after last week's.
I love this expansion. I have no idea how one could use any of the things in it, but the ship looks so **** adorable, and like basically everything in this set it's cheap and gimmicky, you can stuff that in many lists, and provides interactions that seem to be fun to experiment with, but thankfully not game-breaking.

This will bring Jerjerod from F tier to F+ tier!
you're not really jealous of Maul, are you holy?
between K4 and Dengar, he's really nothing to even be remotely jealous of

Actually, I'm thinking the Dormitz "Turn 1 alpha strike" build.
I'm reading all the hoops you have to jump through
As in, just having something to shoot. Which is really all you can ask for in most situations.
for a marginal benefit that doesn't modify your dice.
Yes, such a marginal benefit that it costs 2 or 4 points on other ships for one. I mean FFS you're the one that goes on about how broken EU is. Now you get both, it doesn't eat up your action so you get one for your attack, and it seriously helps you get attacks in that you wouldn't have otherwise. All above RAC, and you can eject the astro if you want to get rid of the first card he puts on you.
My original point, which you neglected of course, was that this is a ship your opponent has to answer, and does not want to be fighting in the end game. He's got to be just about the cheapest PS11 repositioner in the game now.

Do you think PS 8 will be high enough to pull off that jank?
You're going to pay a point on an X-Wing anyway for the extra health from Integrated Astromech, and Flight-Assist Astromech is at least as good as R2 Astromech. On high PS you probably want regen, but if you do take it it's powerful. On low PS it's still action efficiency, and it's freeing up your dial a lot to cover more ground or block. It also means you can check arc in the activation phase.
