Star Wars: Destiny Legacies Blue Spoilers Review!

By Double Blanks Gaming, in Star Wars: Destiny

Better play with Aayla, Run Force Throw in her deck. Roll out Aayla get lets say 1X, Special, and a blank on the Throw. Next turn Resolve her special to turn Throw to Special, turn their Mace/MotC/Mauls Saber/etc to the +4 or 3 side and proceed to throw their own dice at them.

I am proxing up a eYoda/eQui-Gon deck. Tons of options for shields, Yoda's specials, and other cool stuff. Also when Legacies comes out we have Defensive Teaching to get another shield, Obi-Wan's Lightsaber, and Ataru Strike to deal a ton of damage.

This. The synergy is insane. I love the 0 cost synchronicity for 2 unblockable damage as well

i find every time i have Synchronicity in my deck i never, ever roll melee and shields at the same time lol.

fml right?

I know people talk about returning to Awakenings type excitement of the game and that SOR was over powered and ruined the spirit of SWD and at current both of these ideas/complaints may be true; but the game is becoming much richer in both theme and fun factor with the 2 new expansions and starter sets.

Also the rotation will be good for new players. The biggest challenge now is to get new people interested in joining the game. I think it has it's core players who prepared to play it from the very beginning and these players weathered all the issues and may feel a bit worried about their collections. But that is the nature of a good CCG. Now it is important to bring in new players and let them see that the game is not only live and well but improving and most importantly approachable. I am getting very excited to start buying some new cards and I hope this game has a healthy life span.

i wish they'd spoil plots and the proper rules for them.

im curious if you can have multiple plots if you have points (probably not repeat plots at least though)

I was pretty sure it said one plot card, I could be wrong. I wonder the point range of plots

Bah, yeah i looked at the Legacies article again and it does say "single plot" (course articles and rules being accurate? HA).

Doesnt mean we wont get some pretty ridiculous plots that cost like 5-8pts though.

I was thinking how annoying a deck would be with 3 tie fighter pilots or servents of the dark side but thats a 24pt list, since you cant fit a 4th in there. Unless theres a powerful and expensive plot theres no way that list would ever work :P

I love Hired Guns! I would totally run three of them with a 6-point plot card!

FFG needs to make:

30 point plot "Smugglers Run"

"Play an elite Han Solo - Scoundrel (Awk 46) & elite Chewbacca - Loyal Friend (SoR 43).

Chewbacca - Loyal Friend has Guardian for remainder of game."

Thanks,
~D
