First attempt at a list and no real experience of the game yet but wondered if anyone thought this list was workable. I also know outland scouts isnt out yet but in the meantime I cab sub in a Golem for them. For resources, on top of yhe units below, I only havr Lord Hawthorne and another 2 trays of deepwood elves so I could drop the crossbows but at the expense of making a 2*2 archer unit instead

A friend did 4 or 5 oathsworn 2*1 3 or 4 single golems and Kari the one time, it was entertaining.

I'd recommend Fortuna's Dice on Kari over Heartseeker. Ignoring LoS is nice, but the white die is very powerful when you can pick its result. On the Spearmen, I wouldn't suggest taking both Lance Corporal AND Aggressive Cornicen - one of the great things about each of those upgrades is it gives you the option of the speed-4 charge, but it's a lot of points for both. Consider perhaps the Marching Cornicen instead, to keep nimble while dialing in charges and defense.

okay I can see that, how is this for an adjustment , ive increased the size of both the archers and spearmen and removed the outland scouts and made some changes as suggested

Were I going to change this list... I'd drop Kari entirely (or wrap her into the Spearman unit), drop the Deepwood, up the Xbowmen to 3 wide (it makes a huge difference) and sneak in another Xbowmen unit.

Kari + Deepwood is expensive for what it brings when compared to the quite effective Heavy Crossbowmen.

As much as that interests me Im not going to be able to unbuy two archer units and buy 2 H Xbowman in their place, I like the idea though.

Keep an eye on wraith step. So far, I've only had like one opportunity to get good use out of it, so generally speaking it's probably better to hold that point for the initiative bid. I've got good things to say about latari training, but 6 points is a lot (but consider, if in a game it lets you get off 2, even 1 additional ranged attacks, it might be well worth it)

I'm also a big fan of the 3x1 crossbows, but 2x1 piercing strike do look to fill a cool niche.

Decent chance you could get away with dropping close quarters targeting on the elves. You've got a solid frontline, and with their shifts they shouldn't have too much trouble staying out of danger.
