I am sure I’m one if the few, but I do.
Could also be a syndrome of abuse victim, too. Not only have I been subject to worse from gaming companies in the past, but my own life is pretty crappy right now, so I’m holding to hope.

If their "big" news isn't legitimately big news, I'm done.
I'll still play, but I will ONLY get ships via Shapeways, use generally sized model kits (the Revell Star destroyer is more accurately scaled anyway, and it makes sound effects!) use card printouts, FFG wont see another cent from me. I don't play in tournaments, so they cant do anything about it.
I do certainly hope this ‘big news’ is actually big news. I’ve got a bad feeling (to coin a phrase) that it’s going to be underwhelming, if indeed there is anything newsworthy at all.
FFG could certainly do with improving their customer interaction.

I'm not quite at the point that you are yet but I can certainly sympathize with your feelings. At this point I would accept any direct interaction from FFG with these forums as something big.

Yes, and the ISD that they repainted is a big ship. Therefore it was something big ... that was coming. At least, when it was still coming. Since it's still listed as 'In Development', I would hazard that we don't get it 'till deep into Q2.

. I'm pretty sure that they would have hyped anything that way even if it was nothing but repaints of the flotillas. I only keep mocking it because it fits in perfectly with the rest of their vague statements.

No, I read it that way too. Catch is, they've been dismissive of Armada and they choose to hype it up with that gem, they need to be prepared for backlash if it doesn't live up.
There are so many good ways to respond to criticism by consumers, this was not one of them.
Someone just go on twitter and ask if Wave 7 was the "big" news.

I still think, for reasons I cannot explain, that "big" was about an SSD in whatever mode they come up with for it.

rumor has it the SSD is in play testing, i imagine we wont see it with wave 7. I am hopeful we will see wave 7 late January or February, i hope its out before Chinese New Year or we wont see wave 7 until June/July time
