We will continue what we started last year for anyone who has earned a bye for Regionals. We will have a late check in for those players provided they comply with the following steps.
1. Inform me via email ([email protected]) that you have a bye that you wish to use on Friday or Saturday.
2. Your squad sheet must be submitted by email ([email protected]) no later than end of day on1/3/18. Once your squad has been submitted it can't be changed for any reason.
3. Which ever day you are playing you will need to check in at noon with your bye card in hand on the day of your scheduled flight.
We have our regional playmat image available as well as image for our Grand Admiral Thrawn back pack for top 16 competitors.
We are very honored to host the X-Wing Regional Championship at Pastimes once again this year. Last years Regional was amazing with 121 players in attendance for the main event and 41 players for our redemption event on day 2. This year we will be running with a slightly different format. There will be a Friday Qualifying event, and a Saturday Qualifying event. The top 16 players at the end of Swiss rounds from each day will move on to the Single Elimination Finals on Sunday.
The Regional championship will be run by all rules set forth by Fantasy Flight games. In addition to the the main event we will be hosting a ship Painting / Modification contest to be voted on by any and all participants. As an additional value to those traveling to our Regionals for a two day event we will be having a Redemption tournament on Sunday. The redemption tournament will be open to all players but if you played in the main event on Friday or Saturday your entry is free!
Due to the high demand for this tournament seating will be limited to 80 players on Friday and 120 players on Saturday. All registration must be completed online to guarantee yourself a seat. Due to the limited registration opportunities, all registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to participate, you will receive a store credit for the amount of the registration.
Just like last year we all entry fees will go towards prize support and we have custom Regional playmats for the top 32 players. All these prizes and more HUGE PRIZES AND BONUSES to be announced are in addition to all the prizes provided by Fantasy Flight Games
