We hope everyone can make it to NuBrand Gaming's first Legend of the Five Rings tournament:

Lion Cubs and Unicorn Ponies , a Making Friends and Breaking Provinces event.

Registration begins at 10:00 AM

First Round begins at 10:30 AM

Award Ceremony at approximately 5:00 PM

Entry Fee: $15 \ $10 if you are a Nu Brand Gaming member.

The tournament will be four (4) rounds in a Swiss format (random pairings within each win/loss bracket). This will be a Relaxed event. As such there will be no cut, so everyone will get to play 4 rounds and we will even accept grudge matches for round 1 only (subject to organizer approval).

Each round will be a leisurely One Hour and Fifteen Minutes . In the event that the two players still do not complete their game, the players will follow the official L5R rules for going to time (found here: https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/68/61/68616548-a992-4634-aa03-7b8ba800f02f/l5c_tournament_regulations_v101.pdf ). Due to the relaxed nature of the event and the extended times per round, modified wins will be treated the same as a regular win.

All released cards will be allowed for play. However, there will be no proxies permitted, you must have a copy of the card to use it.

There will be prize support, but it is a surprise. The overall winner and other random entry will be receiving something awesome.
