Every list has been thought of already. But no such 'repository' of all lists created exists. So what you are asking for just isn't there.
And who cares? If you like a list, fly it! What difference does it make whether other people have used it or not?
Its not the list itself that makes you a 'unique and special snowflake' but HOW you use it!

If you do it in x wing squadron builder it’ll tell you how many times it has been built on there before...

Probably the most official capacity for list builds would be on List Juggle, which lists all the top lists and how often they are used. These are mostly from top tier competitive lists, though. Like Estarriol said, X Wing Squadron Builder lets you know if anyone has built it on that specific squad builder, but probably doesn't check other squad builders or anything. I've had a few show up on the squad builder that "haven't been built," even though they weren't uncommon list archetypes.
