I just had a beer. A Danish one. Didn't help one bit.

Get an Erdinger or Hoegaarden;)

Better to know where the Crap is, than to be smelling it and not seeing it.

This is now my claim to forum fame: I located the approximate position of the crap we are currently smelling

Hey, I'm just the messenger of discontent here... Personally, I couldn't care less about it.

...

Well, I could care less.

But caring less would involve being distracted by something else.

And as eveyrone knows, there hasn't been a good discussion distraction on the Armada forums for 2 months now.

O i know that wasn't you saying it

Haha, very true!

I don't usually know it's there until I step in it.

Can we get an FAQ on what "early" means?

Definitely within the first 12 months. Most likely there's a good chance that it'll be a single digit months.

Ok, as an American I need to ask, what is Aussie beer, beyond that it's from Australia? I am fortunate enough to live in an area ripe with craft breweries. To date none of them have done an Aussie style beer, though you mentioned it with a bit of reverence. Can you describe it, or perhaps equate it to something similar?

The only other beers I have very little experience with are barely wines and sours.

I did a semester in Melbourne, and I'd say you aren't missing all that much. I get nostalgic for a Carlton Draught every once in a while, but it's only nostalgia. None of the beer I had Down Under was all that special, in my opinion.

Meat pies and footy are a different story, I would LOVE to have access to those again...

Don't get me started on that, again.

So... yeah. Armada truly is the Redheaded steapchild of FFG.

Half-***ed announcement a week after GENCON. Very little support or recognition of one of their best selling games.

FFG has too many irons in the fire, which will lead them to lose business instead of growing it.

I miss the old days when they seemed more focused. I know Armada has always gotten the short end of the stick compared to other products, but this year is especially short.

Nothing better after a slab of tinnies than meat pies and sausage rolls...

I'm just glad I can get Tim Tams at Target.

Little things, little things.

I think this will mean we won’t see our releases until after legion and it’s first wave are on shelves. I’m betting on late winter or early spring (March or April) for our releases. Very disappointed in our overlords.

I believe they are competing with themselves and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of their games get retired. There's a bit too much overlap in their games and design/development is a limited resource.

I’m afraid you might be right, which is sad considering I like a lot of their older games more than any of their newer ones.

Ey! We will get a new wave for Christmas!! Yeah!

What did you say?

You're not wrong. I've gone from causal Solo Arkham Horror LCG player/Armada Enthusiast and Evangelist to the reverse.

The rule changes and new wave actually had me liking the game as much as ever again, but the lack of support and ever shrinking community has me basically right back where I was before. Only instead of angry and considering call it a complete collection, I'm disappointed.

O that's right haha. When they made ia that meant they were regulated to that scale only forever. Thanks for the reminder of that point dras :b

Nope. Incorrectly scaled because YOU WON'T GET AT-ATs! And 40 stormtroopers is hardly a Legion is it? Just a very large squad. So on both counts, the game is incorrectly scaled.

However, I'm sure it'll sell bucket loads, its just 20 years toi late for me after playing 40k since the 1st edition.

They might make AT-ATs. Too early to call that yet.

Very disappointing that multiple people had to specifically ask on Twitter before we heard anything.

And Twitter is one of my least favorite of all the social media sites that I don't like. I guess I will have to rely on others for information. So disappointing that FFG puts so little effort into communication for the game I care most about.
