With apologies to @Brigadierblu, I had to share the following encounter from this past weekend’s store tourney. @Brigadierblu and I were both 2-0 and so we met in the finale. He was running an AT-DP, Palp, Riots, rSentries, rOfficer, and eJets list. I was trying out a Heroic Effort list, with Han, Drokkatta, Ahsoka, Jarrod, Gideon, C3PO, and Chopper. I was worried, but then Drokkatta wrought devastation on a third of his army in a single activation.
It was a thing of beauty.
We were doing the crates mission on Jabba’s map (which I was excited about after the Week 1 Skirmish article discussion). I was on the red side, and seeing an AT-DP staring me down on the opposite side of the map, I was not opening my door. I moved down into the center room, while @Brigadierblu moved his AT-DP out in the main room and moved his Riots and droids toward the center room.
For reference, I’ll use this awesome image from @Bitterman's post in the Week 1 Skirmish article.

He moved his eRiots into positions B and D. I then went with Han and double moved him up to the bottom right space in between Jabba’s statue and the two-space wall (giving him LoS to the eRiot in space B for his end-of-round attack). Earlier, I had bumped Ahsoka forward two spaces with Hera and Chopper, so with my last activation she was able to force leap next to the eRiot on D and deal 5 damage to him (with a focused attack). At the end of round, I dealt 6 to the eRiot on B with Han’s focused attack (I think forcing a card discard for an extra block with Zillo).
I lucked out and was able to keep initiative for the start of round two. Oh man, I had plans. :-)
I moved up with Chopper and rammed the eRiot on D, dealing one damage and moving him horizontally adjacent to the eRiot on B. Then I played Strength in Numbers and went with Drokkatta.
This is where Drokkatta shines. I moved her up to place a rubble token that killed both eRiots and dealt a damage to an officer (who was now adjacent to both eRiots thanks to Chopper’s ram). With her attack I one-shotted a Sentry droid, then used the new Heavy Weapons card to deal the final two damage to the officer. Four figures (including a whole deployment of reinforceable eRiots) with a single activation.
This of course points to the power of initiative, but also to how potent Drokkatta can be in the right situation. She can just wreck things :-)
Happy gaming!
