Yeah usually, you want to make that shot count. It's also when Boba is at R1 and eating shots coming back his way!

Hmmmm... I only have two copies of Glitterstim. How big of a deal is having a second one on Asajj or is there another decent alternative?

It's very good on Asajj as she's got the green moves to use it to keep the pressure up, but I wouldn't judge that it was vital. The original list I picked up only used 1 copy on Asajj and had Engine Upgrade instead of Gyroscope. I just wanted to give her more action economy so fed the second 'stim in.

I'm sure you can run without it, but there's not really anything else I'd want to use instead.

Coming from someone who's run 2 Glitterstims on a VI Ketsu, IT'S VERY HELPFUL! Specifically if you're not running PTL on either Ketsu or Asajj. My logic goes like this when list building for Lancers:

If PTL on Lancer, pick whatever you want. If VI on Lancer, MINIMUM 1 Glitterstim, but you better find points for a 2nd.

I like the Boba/Assajj list too. I suspect that two non-turret large ships with no repositioning will struggle against some of the nimbler high-PS lists but it sure does sound great!

As for mindlink, I've run a mindlinked brobot list with advanced sensors right after jumpmasters appeared and it wasn't half bad. I've even won a tournament with it (a small one but still).

I'd worry about Dash/Miranda too - they'll keep you at R3 and peck away.

Its good enough to win games and quarter kits. I'm not sure id try to win regionals with it!

And that's your right. But considering the vast majority of people I have seen discussing the last nerf look upon it as a good thing, thus are willing to continue to buy X-Wing stuff and play in tournaments and such, it makes your cries that the game is dead fall very flat.

While I am not fond of the whole "if you don't like it, why don't you quit" question for a couple of reasons, I do feel your recent behavior begs it. If this last FAQ has you _so_ convinced that the game is dying/dead that you argue about it in multiple locations, why are you spending so much time and energy arguing about it? If it is so down in the dumps, doesn't waiting for 2.0 rather than trying to stir up people who have an opposing view sound like a better use of time?

I don't mean this to be a "gtfo" post. I am trying to understand your position, because as is, it seems completely irrational.

This. Even if the recent FAQ does noting for the game itself and 3 months from now we have a new meta and people hating on it (quite likely IMO), this FAQ has rekindled the enthusiasm in the game for many people, and that's a very good thing.

I played the boba list this weekend and won the quarterly kit with it! It was amazing how many ppl came up and said it was awesome to see boba on the table and doing well
