One thing I was thinking of was that each mandilorian fighter would be unique with each clan having its own unique like rogue squadron or black squadron and then one ace. So the protectors would get one protectors squadron and fenn rau. This formula could be used with the other clans too. Thoughts?

Edit: Ok, Ill expand on this a bit. As the Chimaera comes with two Gauntlet Fighters, I would greatly appreciate if you could only ever run the two of them, or I am going to end up with a lot of extra Star Destroyets. Having two unique squads not only makes them less purchase intensive, but also allows quite powerful abilities to be placed on them, abilities fitting for a Mando strike force, without them crowding up the game too terribly.

the chimaera will come with clan saxon gauntlets and so it will have one unique saxon squadron and the a clan saxon ace. In the future we will get mandos in other ships and even a dual sided squad pack like rogues and villans 2.

We will, or we hope that we will? I would definitely appreciate that, but I can't say I find it terribly likely

I'm waiting till I see the actual article to decide if I like these new fighters or not.

Gat Saxon is shown to be the ace there.

I think, more so than anything else, it is the fact he was Imperial Regent if Mandalore more so than just the head of the Saxon clan that puts him in an Imperial box set.

The rest of the mandalorians, well, they are pretty opinion polarizing. You love or hate.

What some love, others will derive out as a bunch of Mary Sues of a race...

Anecdotally, for example, more people seem happy that the Rebels Mandalorian arc is done and dusted than not, as part of their simple survey.

I've definitely enjoyed the episodes since that arc wrapped up more than I did the Mando story. That may be just because I was so excited to finally get Rukh brought back into canon and to see that they made him a badass.

I just Thought that we will see fenn rau in he future. This could come with the fang fighters

I think the best way to bring in Mandalorians would be in a campaign box. Though it goes against the whole cardboard only aspect of it. Fang fighters could very well be the first cross faction unit and throwing 4 squadrons in one box could be a good solution to buying them.

This is a great idea. The only problem is that we already have them coming in the chimaera.

Those are Gauntlets. They are troop transports.
