A list I have been rolling with lately and thought i would share it!

To start of, I don't care about initiative too much, since a lot of people run almost exclusively only ships around here which out activates me every time. So what I came up with against that is me not having to move at all first and only moving some of my ships in the second turn by using the G7-X Grav Well Projector to make my ships deploy with speed 0. Makes it hard to out activating me if i don't activate at all, or so i think at least. The Interdictor is my middle ship, which supplies the VSD which has Commandant Aresko with tokens as well as shields since that is my getting close ship, and yes i know, getting close with speed 2 takes time, but it seems to work so far. My flagship, I usually speed up first and have him come from the outside and circle in using the front arc 4 red dice to shoot at things. Fighters are to occupy others as well as the 3 bombers in case i do get a chance and a ship comes to close. That's basically it, so what do you guys think ?

Rather than deploying at Speed 0 wasting your G7 you could instead deploy right on your base line at speed 1 so you don't need to waste as many commands accelerating for when the combat begins. Now you can hamper enemy Deployments with the G7 and perhaps throw a few rocks about with a grav shift. I would replace the first VSD with a VSD2 with GT, Capacitors, LS and maybe QBTs.

I like the trade for the VSD2 with that equipment and think i will try it out this weekend! As for the speed 0, i thought it would counter the heavy raider and cr 90 lists which rely on me moving forward so that that can get into my back. We got 3 players here in my region who bring 7 -9 ships almost no cards and no fighters. Plus i thought of me not moving means he can't shoot me sooner either cause its shoot and move. Thanks for the ideas! Think i should stay with the other VSD1 as is ?

Interesting idea - think you are missing trick with only one Grav upgrade though.

Put in GSR and change your objectives to Station Assault and Contested Outpost. Deploy speed zero move the station(s) towards you and sit on them. Remember if you are sat on a station at speed zero you still do a manoeuvre and can discard a damage card.

Tempted to try this with my Devastator fleet or even two Interdictors and Devastator...

If 2nd player you can deploy at speed zero and sit on the stations whilst making your opponent deploy at speed zero somewhere. If first, you can use both G7s to limit their deployment area. Very weak vs squads though.

Oh I didnt think of moving them towards me at all and playing those objectives! Briliant thought mate!

Keep in mind that the Contested Outpost doesn't heal damage at all, but you can still rack up points by pulling it toward you.

So in the end I went to Atlanta with the list below. I got matched up against 3 other Imperials, all running a Sloane ISD list. Did pretty okay with 2 wins 1 loss, playing Contested Outpost, Station Assault and Solar Corona. Will never take Solar Corona again, cost me the last game by one crucial accuracy in the final round lol. Had fun moving terrain around and actually i started every game at speed 0 which threw people off which was fun to observe.
