What is your favorite EPT to use, or what is the most effective in your lists?
Many people will say VI or PTL.
My vote is for Wired, Deadeye, or maybe Cool Hand.

Rage, Crack Shot, and Expertise would be my votes. All three are fantastic for different reasons. All are crazy cost-efficient, though.

I like Predator, Veteran Instincts, and Intensity.
Edited by PoolemanIf I want to shoot ordnance with a focus instead of a target lock I would probably choose deadeye.
If I want to perform boost or barrel roll actions while stressed then expert handling is probably a better EPT
Veteran Instincts. I do not like it cause it is somewhat boring but nobody can deny its importance.
Saturation Salvo. No, wait, Expose!

Best =/= favorite. These are favorites.
That said, Attanni Mindlink, because Dengar and Manaroo are in loo0oove.
PTL, Expertise, and VI are all incredible.
Shout out to A Score to Settle, because it can make my opponent shoot who I want them to shoot.

In terms of one that is available to all who can equip an EPT, probably Predator. It isn't restricted to a faction, it's not shut down by stress and it gives you a reroll or two no strings attached.
Depends on the ship. There is no one best EPT.
For Soontir, it's PTL. He'd be terrible with VI. For Quickdraw, it's probably VI, and he'd be terrible with PTL. For Lowhhrick, it's probably Draw Their Fire or Selflessness, he'd be awful with PTL OR VI. Etc.
Lone Wolf on Dash is insane for 2 points. The defensive reroll is super clutch. And it has an offensive reroll, too.
I think Intensity is really a really fun and well designed EPT. Action Economic, but with a positioning demand and a cost. Used well its incredibly good without being good in the no brainer way like VI or PTL on some ships.
Best is probably VI
Favorite is Expertise
Best and favorite are two entirely different things, as I hate using VI or feeling I have to use it. I wish it didn't exist.
Edited by Joe CensoredI feel like Wired is great on so many ships. Free rerolls when you're stressed? Great against XG-1-Flechettes.
I would say the most universally useful EPT is Predator or VI. Only a few pilots don't need a free reroll and I'd say the vast majority of pilots that can take VI would benefit from it.
Other popular epts like PTL or Deadeye are superb on a compatible ship, but aren't that useful on ships who don't have the right capabilities.
Mindlink before the FAQ would have been a strong contender.
VI
VII

Veteran Instincts Intensified?

Sadly, probably more like Veteran Instincts Incurious, since I never seem to try to find something that would work better. ![]()
Marksmanship *Snickers*
In no particular order:
Veteran Instincts
Push the Limit
Expertise
Lone Wolf
Crackshot
VI/Expertise/PtL
As far as my _favorite_ EPTs?
Push the Limit. I like the feeling of flying a super fragile ship that's dependent on repositioning to stay alive.
Rage. I love this card. I love that someone is getting so worked up over the fact that their enemies are alive that it lends them focus and lets them shot better. The only downside is that it doesn't work _at all_ with Darth Vader.
Intimidation. This is the card Arvel was born to equip.
Wingman. It's designed for Rebel synergy lists. I know it doesn't actually do any good. But this is still a favorite.
Outmaneuver. Honestly? I wish the A-Wing were built around this concept. It's such a great idea.
You may notice that none of these are the best EPTs. Many of them aren't actually very good. And yet...
Ruthlessness, Expertise and PTL are the favorites.
I'd probably like fearlessness if it wasn't scum trash.
AND Outmaneuver also. It's such a fun card.
