Biggs be slacking, so I've taken matters into my own hands! First up for this month, I'm talking bids:

Edited by TruthinessA light but useful article.
I recently got my who-cares?-Fleet and I am quite happy with it.
I almost always run an “It would be nice” Fleet. May try to embrace the “who cares.”
My current favorite list says says you can take Advanced Gunnery against my Ackbar Defiance with Intel Officer, give me 50 from VIP, or 80 from Salvage Run. I am gonna try to make Fire Lanes more viable so they are looking at even more lopsided points differential.

And this is why I almost always build a "Who Cares" fleet with a "Want It" bid!
My who cares is a point harvester fleet with BTAvenger and AG built with 6 activations. It let me feel comfortable being first or second.
I'm a nice to have to who cares player, and I have been having a lot of success with an avenger who cares list as I have enough activations as second player to delay avenger activation ships fly in but don't fly out or if I go first well that's fine too.

Here is what you must conquer.
Nice beard.
Step up that mustache game though, son.
Oh my god Ard, what has the pacific northwest done to you!? haha

Didn't he get nerfed? ![]()
Okay bad joke, but go mustaches, and Beards!
Speaking of which, when is Armada getting Jek?

Only if you play an inferior miniatures game.
Shmitty posted an article about a dead game:

I... uh... I am having a lot of trouble finding things to write about.

Nothing you're interested in, or nothing that seems worth writing?
I, just after trimming my mustache, discovered you can just train it to sit off your lip by combing it.
The regret is real.
It's official. I've totally lost my mind:

Unfortunately I'm out of likes for the day, but I agree completely. The logic is completely sound. My Sloane fleet in the Autumn tournament hated dealing with lists that could absorb my plinks (and mind you these were Defenders, so many plinks were crits too) and barreling in on the Quasar and the ISD. My dual ISD fleet hasn't fought a good Sloane list yet, but the dual Liberty list I had at the Battle of the Borderlands was felled exactly how you describe. I'm pretty sure I've learned from that experience and now wouldn't fare quite so poorly, but the points stand.
my local meta has taken a shift away from squadron heavy builds most builds run medium coverage to none at all in my last tournament all of my games my opponents had no squadrons I used my bombers to plink away at there ships but the games were still close I lost one game won my others but going squadron-less is a thing where I play most ships have double AA in squadron-less lists, but they do work. I feel like the game as stands now demands you bring a balanced list you need to have an answer to squadrons, but you cant just go ace holes anymore if you bring a heavy squadron fleet you need at least one heavy hitter ship as well again this is just my experience.

I think that’s the first time someone has accused me of that on this forum. Take it back! TAKE IT BACK!
Hey, look. An Armada article I actually wrote:

It pains me too, to read Leia’s rating.
For me, it is the total combination in MSU fleet that works for me...
On Navigates, it is an Ozzel effect.
On Squad, it’s often a doubling of squad ratings.
But more importantly for me:
On Confires, it’s a built in Reroll,
snd on Engineering, it’s the ability for most small ships to discard damage cards... Sonething they most often cannot do on a single turn on their own...
Much success in a HammerSwarm... But I never really attempted her elsewhere other than DoublePickle, and hat was ludicrously tanky.
Not that I intend to get you to change a rating... My evidence is only anecdotal, and of course will not invalidate your own experiences ?

@BiggsIRL, I would like your post, but I can't have you hating on my homegirl like that. The benefit I found from Leia is that she's phenomenal with con fires and engineering. I've had some solid success with her with Yavaris or Salvation, but she doesn't want a skew list (hard squadron, no squadron).
I find myself comparing her to an orchestra, really. One turn your hammerheads have the melody, the next it's Salvation, the turn after that it's your CR90. If I wasn't already trying something potentially incredibly ludicrous I'd be playing her for Regionals.
I do like the jokes though, Biggs.
The biggest beef I have with Leia is that cost. For 3 command value ships, Garm + Asoka is 11 points cheaper, for the same net effect. ****, slapping Comms Net on a flotilla you took just for activations and taking Dodonna is 16 points cheaper for the same effect, and I can bank tokens and use them all on the same turn in either case.
The only thing she legitimately makes better are flotilla squadron pushers, and Hammerhead spam, and Cracken does the later of the two better. You know what I could have taken instead of Leia to get +1 squadron out of my 2 flotillas? Dodonna and another flotilla.
If she was 30-32 points, she'd easily be a "B" tier generalist.

I really feel Cracken on Hammerheads is over-sold as a comparison... Since there is only so much you can do going nothing but speed 3...
Leia makes them dance like Madine liberties.
Dont people constantly underestimate and understate that?
