In my local X-Wing league, we're having a truly insane theme week, where faction restrictions are completely removed. That means ships/pilots from mixed factions can fly in the same squad, as well as faction-limited upgrades. This opens up some really wild combinations...

• Fearlessness gives Quickdraw extra hits out of both arcs, while Captured TIE lets him get into position safely...
• Sabine Wren & Cad Bane provides Rear Admiral Chiraneau enough space for a Bomblet Generator...
• Han Solo can carry Emperor Palpatine along with him on the Kessel Run...
• Whisper can rely on Dengar to give her all the rerolls she needs...
• The sheer Ruthlessness of Captain Jostero can give him double-attacks virtually every round.
• Arc Caster + TIE/D anyone?

Are there any other ridiculous combos that you folks can think of to help me break the game of X-Wing?

Lowrick protecting omega leader with c3p0 and dengar on board so he has offense

Imperials Aggressors sharing EPTs with Iggy.

Ten Numb, Boba, Bistan, Kylo sharing list space.

X7 defenders besides a Selflessness Lowhrick.

Also, @Ralgon, Astromech and Salvaged Astromech are different slots, so you sadly still can't mix and match those.

But I had been thinking about possibilities anyways. Bomblet generator on really any 2-crew ship, with rerolls /and/ extra damage. My thought was an Auzituck, so that really you don’t want to be in front of or behind him

IG-88D and Attani Mindlink are the other two main cards that came to mind for having some fun. Lots of options for who to put those on.

I was thinking Kylo + Bistan would make a nasty pair on RAC. Boba Fett only adds icing on the cake.

So I'm pulling this one back out of the dust. we're talking about doing this in our X-wing league. So here's my two cents now and really theory crafting. (they're also planning on a random number of points. I think someone's 4 year old daughter is picking a number between 1-50 and we're adding 100 to it.)

IG-2000 had the limit of scum only. all of that is removed, so now I can put IG-2000 title on Tie Aggressors. I just realized that I can make a Bossk that if he misses with his first shot (use a cruise missile, don't add any to it, and re-roll if it's a hit) who could attack three more times. Give him IG88D, table him with double edge who can have the IG-2000 title since it's factionless now, gunner, and IG88B with title.

Miss with first, use either double edge or IG88B, then the other, then use gunner. Gunner has to be last because his is the only that says you cannot attack anymore this round.

If you use a Mangler cannon adding damage is great from Bossks ability, a Glitterstim helps not to need focus tokens for the whole round, Rage would give re-rolls for all of them, and if points go deep enough, Kestal w/IG200 would allow some impressive defense cancelling for each focus token you can get on Bossk.

all sorts of other play could come off of this one too, but that's my first thoughts.
