E-Ackbar E-Leia

By AlainCrusade, in Star Wars: Destiny

What do you think of it? I normally pair Leia with a blaster, over-kill, and survival gear. Akbar, gets a blaster, survival gear, and natural pilot. I've won quit a few games with it. Even strike team is useful, thou a bit costly. Leia is normally a big threat; with that set up so field medic is a must. hit and run is good too. Even, "it's a trap"decent even with the rule change.

Typo's and deck list

I don't think I'd ever run a red ranged deck without Rearm. Especially since the rule change where you can discard for no reason. It's a super fast way to get a resource for free and protection against mill.

I run a fairly similar deck, currently has Mon Mothma instead of Akbar but I alternate the two. Either way if you can survive and heal they can hit quite hard once a few upgrades are out.

IMO you could use a few more blasters and leave out the spendy supports. How much has the Black One seen play and helped out? If you prefer having them in, Id say ditch the Take Cover x2 and Teamwork in favor of A280 x2 and a DH-17.. nothing feels better than getting a DH-17 on Leia turn one and know you’ll be able to afford most anything she rolls out. I’d also take out the IQA if you have another Overkill.

I did pretty well with a Lackbar deck earlier this year when just Awakenings was out. I’ll miss All In’s potency post the most recent errata.

What changed about All In?

Or do you think its just not as valuable because of other changes?

I think he might mean "its a trap" which went from being occasionally amazing in this specific deck to being... i dunno... maybe not garbage but certainly not as good as it was.

Unless All-in copped it too?

Yuuup, that's what I meant... was referring to It's a Trap. Sorry for the confusion!

Wing man is worth using if you are going all red.
