That's unprecedented for ffg, I mean major rhymer for armada nationals had the pre errata text on him ?

It means they knew that they would make the change back when the crossbowmen went to the printer

It shows how far behind the faq was to the decision more than anything but it's good!

FFG will reprint any errata'd cards pretty quick.

Reason we arent used to it being this quick is because xwing/armada has a looooooooooong period between prints of the same card. Not many cards can be found in multiple boxes, and even then usually its just 2 boxes, while in RWM the same cards are everywhere.

also i cant fathom how baffling it would be to get an alt art Major Rhymer, read it and go "wait....wat?" lol. He's still strong but not auto-freaking-win-deathball strong.

You missed it, the text is non-errata, despite being effectively, a reprint.

Xwing and armada have the obvious licensing issues that would slow the whole cycle down also

It's good that they make these changes this quickly, there is nothing more upsetting for a new player to bring a list and then you have to point out it doesn't work way because of a faq
