Force and Destiny: Out of stock?

By Arioch1973, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

I have just today got introduced to the new Star Wars Age of Rebellion, so I wanted to try to find the books. But for some reason, no matter what store I check, Force and Destiny Core Rulebook is out of stock. Is there any planned reprints of this one?

Yes; if you check the Upcoming page at the top, you can see it is currently At the Printer, meaning they're making new copies as we speak. Er, type.

It also started printing at the beginning of October, so I think it'll change status soon. Most books take ~4 weeks to print, but since the core books are so big they usually take a little longer.

Once it's done printing, it'll go On the Boat for ~6 weeks, then 13-16 days of shipping to the FFG warehouse and distributors, and it'll be available again.

Call it a New Years present for yourself! :)

If you cannot find a copy among your friends, your local stores or even some hobby shops, you can always order a used copy on a site like eBay.

Thanks, I will keep an eye out for the reprint then. :)

Regarding used copy, only place I could find one was ebay, listed at a higher price than the book costs new from retail, and in rather beat up condition. *Shrug* So waiting for reprint it is. Thank you for replying.

Lmao...

Welcome to the game

FFG isn' very good at keeping stock flowing. It's literally feast or famine.

Get an idea of the books you want then buy them when they are available.

In case you didnt know...as a note there are 3 core rule books for 3 'separate and distinct' lines that are supposed to be interplayable. So if you only want to do force games go with FnD but if you want to play han solo adventures go with edge of the Empire and if you want to do rogue 1 adventures go with age of rebellion.

The important part is that you CAN buy any of the core books to play the game. It's just that their focus is ... focused on their particular flavor.

Thank you.

And yes I know there are three core books. I am hunting them down at the moment. Got Age of Rebellion on order, and are tracking down Edge of the Empire. Will pick up FnD when it comes back into stock.

We just had a friday-saturday-sunday Star Wars RPG feast.... 12 hours each day. LOL. I have not been so eager to play and redo it since I started with RPGs back in the 80s....
