I looked at the advertisement, but it didn't say . Does this provide any extra pieces for the desert maps, or are they just for the 'European" style maps.
Well shine my shoes... I just thought, after i posted this. Another DOTF expansion is near the same cost as the map expansion ...Isn't it? So that would get one more desert map pieces.

Maybe if you buy online....Map pack MSPR is $29.99 and DoTF is $60 although you should be able to find it for $40.
Well, coolstuffinc.com has the map exp. for 19.99 and DOTF for 38.99. I'll probably wait till fall and see what happens on the new EXPANSION that is sure to come our way and then maybe if i can't find another copy of TOI used, i'll buy another new one and another DOTF and a few more WOW planes from coolstuffinc to get to the 100.00 mark for free shipping.
And then again.....maybe a large shark , with friggin' lasers on its head of course, will fly out my butt and ...well Fall is along time away. Must save pennies until then.
What purpose does the map expansion serve? Just if you want to create your own scenarios?
well, that, and some of the scenarios on the website, that are member created or over at BGG are large and require 2 base sets or whatever.
