Just a quick question to those that have complained about paint quality.. were these issues from gifts? Because if not, the packaging is transparent, and you can look at most of the ship before purchase, barring the underside, of course.

Heres my new vs old. Obviously the new one has had much less wash applied. I would say my old one has too much wash though. Overall I think the detail paintwork on the new K-wing is a bit tighter.

Separate from the K-wing, the paint quality of X-wing releases is increasing in general, in my opinion.

My K-Wings are all missing all their lasers - I let an 8-year-old play with them.

I let kiddos play with a fair number of mine as well..... and im guilty of breaking more lasers than they ?
