Since the new article confirms that the Bull's Eye Arc is along the front nubs, new pilot tokens aren't really required to give it to other ships. I feel this could breathe some new life in jousters that have been a bit underrepresented lately. What do you guys think? Like a zero-point tech, or even a title?
Bull's Eye Arc for other ships
Thrust Trajectory (the tech in Silencer) could be this, but I doubt it. You could use the range ruler for measuring if a ship is in bullseye or out, but I think you'd have to make new cardboard. Neat idea, though. We can all dream.
Bullseye arc was just made for X-Wings.
Well, and T-16 Skyhoppers...
It would technically require a new chit for the base of any ship you attach it to, since the measure has to be done from the arc lines on the base. The article does reference the pegs, but I presume to avoid variance in plastics, nubs, and range rulers (aka, arguments of what's in and out), the cardboard would be required.
I could get behind the X-Wing (T65) having the bulleye; though i would like it no been printed.......yes i know all my cards are erated to have different words
I can't see it happening. It's just too logistically awkward.

Yes. X-wings and B-wings. A simple title, something mentioning quad cannons or whatever, that gives an extra red die when in bullseye arc. You should have something for packing 4 guns on your ship!
Hm, maybe the E-wing should have it too though...
I would still prefer to see something new and exciting for the T65 no idea what that could be like, but time will tell

Agreed. An ace pack could pull it off, but that's about it. Reprinting the cardboard for existing ships would require something like Most Wanted to be released.
I personally think it makes more sense, both lorewise and gameplaywise, on A-Wings. Their guns are suppose to be really accurate, just low damage. The Bullseye arc would allow their two damage primary to actually get past some defenses without inflating their red dice pool.

As the first post says, the nubs make the bullseye arc, the printed one is just gravy.

Yes, TIE Interceptor as well (Soontir and Carnor would love it)

But just like ugly ships. I like the gravy

That would be 5 dice when in R1, with carnor token ability......I think i just thrown up a little.
It seems like a relatively minor thing that requires actual skill to make it work, which is nice. ^^ And you can pinpoint it to ships that need it without messing with pilot abilities. Think like Biggs; he was cited often as a reason not to buff the T65, but a buff like that wouldn't really improve Biggs for what he was used prior to the FAQ, you know?
What a mess ![]()

They could do some sort of a clear overlay that adds the arc.

kinda like the mobile arc but see-through?
it wouldn't need to be see through. Just a ring with the arc on it. Axctually, that would be a viable way to do it, potentially - you could easily enough line it up with the existing base edge.

Yep.

Beautiful, isn't it?

A problem I see with this is to get it tight enough that people cant wobble it arount until somthing is in the arc.

You would just have to make sure it was aligned with the base edge.
It's probably not a viable thing to do, but it's interesting to speculate.
I could make something that would satisfy me, and use it, but I doubt FFG could make something that would be reliable enough on the mass manufacture level.

The inside of the nubs? Outside? Mid-nub?

Yub-nub.
