If you're turned into a toad during your turn and then encounter something as the toad does that count as a toad turn? Or is it always the next three turns?

I'd say it's 3 full turns.

I use to always count 3 "end of turn", then you are no more a toad.
It's irrelevant if you became a toad during your turn or not.
