[ flagship ] Assault Frigate Mark II B(72 points)
- General Dodonna ( 20 points)
- Gallant Haven ( 8 points)
- Flight Controllers ( 6 points)
= 106 total ship cost

MC30c Torpedo Frigate (63 points)
- Admonition ( 8 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- H9 Turbolasers ( 8 points)
- Assault Proton Torpedoes ( 5 points)
= 88 total ship cost

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Repair Crews ( 4 points)
= 22 total ship cost

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Bomber Command Center ( 8 points)
= 26 total ship cost

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Toryn Farr ( 7 points)
= 25 total ship cost

1 Jan Ors ( 19 points)
1 Biggs Darklighter ( 19 points)
7 X-Wing Squadrons ( 91 points)

Nothing particularly impressive about the Squadron ball, except that, with Jan, Biggs and Gallant Haven, it's incredibly difficult to kill. It's good against other Squads, and has moderate Bombing abilities.

I like it. My best suggestions relate to swapping out points on flotilla with the repair crews to other things:

  • Remove repair crews. Your MC30 only has 4 hull, if it's taking hull damage it's probably already dead. I also don't think repair crews is worth repairing other flotillas. As for your frigate see next suggestion.
  • Add in comms net, a repair token on your Frigate is 1 shield per turn, this is effectively 1 hull and your Frigate can get more mileage out of its command value of 3 since you can pump it full of tokens.
  • Give Toryn Farr's flotilla Bright Hope. This way it has way more survivability since you want it to be in the middle of the squadron fray to give all your squads her ability.
  • Considering adding an expanded hangar bays since it's unlikely you can consistently activate all your squads, possibly add it to the Frigate to get another die from Flight Controllers. If you have a squad command on every ship sure it gets you to 9, but you don't always want to have squad commands on everything (except maybe the Frigate), sometimes you need a navigate on Toryn Farr's transport to get her in position or something.
  • Maybe diversify your squadron composition a bit. Subbing in 2 Z-95s for an X-wing gives you a nice number of 10 squads (though you already have trouble activating all your squads). You can also add in Norra to increase your bombing potential. You can also add VCXs to round out your objectives more. This more of a wild suggestion but the idea of having a bunch of E-wings with 1 or 2 escorts and Jan inside a Flight Controllers-Gallant Haven is pretty nasty.
  • Not a huge fan of Precision Strike or Superior Positions. I feel like the tried and true Most Wanted is still the best pick here. For the blue really anything fits, I just personally don't like Superior Positions with only speed 3 squads. If you had VCXs you can take minefields and use Strategic to carry the mines around your ships like a bubble to protect against enemy ships. That's always a fun tactic, especially with Dodonna.
  • I'm always a huge fan of Skilled First Officer on MC30s, it gives so much more flexibility to its command stack, and it's only 1 point! If you need a couple more points maybe sub out an X-wing for Gold Squadron (give all those escorts something to protect!) or sub out 2 X-wings for Corran or something.

Made some slight revisions. Now my problem is not having an initiative bid. I might have to (painfully) drop and X wing, get one more upgrade 1-5 points and have the rest for a bid. Otherwise, the MC30c will have a tough time killing anything.

Looks better! I like it!

Excellent!!!

I'd just remove the H9 on the mc30 to give a XX9 to Gallant Heaven. Otherwise, nothing to say.

I have only one concern with X-balls. I ALWAYS roll blanks with reds, even with BCC. I don't trust them.

You may also consider removing H9 and adding ACM instead. Your squadrons can deal with flotillas if it is required and ACM can give more output to your rare ship salvos. But it's more of a playstyle choice.

Nora would be so much upgrade in dmg output against ships.

You should probably put ECMs or RBDs or some other defensive retrofit on Gallant Haven because if the x-wings are impossible to kill, they'll go for Gallant Haven.

Not even sure if FC on the assault frigate is even needed, having 8 x-wings.

Maybe move Toryn to Gallant Haven, it will already be close to the fight. Then move BCC to the Bright Hope.

Put Ahsoka and Comms net on Quantum Storm.

Your logic is sound.
