Hux's Rhoboats

With this build, everyone is staying close, using SLAM only in emergencies, and if so, SO can get the target lock for them

Sorry if I hurt someone's eyes. I just want feedback.

Looks too colourful. Needs more anger and destruction colours (maybe some black with more red?)?

**** no. The Empire/FO is enlightened and benevolent.

Okay....first thoughts:

  • Stridan is not such a high Pilot Skill that getting to acquire a lock when he moves is going to really be much better than getting a lock when the generics move
  • On the other hand, you don't need a lock for the initial launch (because deadeye) so I guess the lock is only really there to allow you to keep shooting whilst reloading.
  • Repeated Ion Pulse Missiles should be pretty good at keeping someone heavily tazed (especially with Fanatical Devotion to make it un-evadable).
  • Having the ion cannon gunboat as well seems a bit overkill on the ion front.
    • If I wanted to be mean I'd take a flechette cannon and Linked Batteries - removes the need for a veteran (saving quite a few points) and allowing the RAEG-inducing combination of two ion tokens and a stress token.

I can replace the Ion with Linked. I don't have Flechettes yet.

And as far as the TL from the Officer, it's only if one of the Rhos needs to reload and still shoot, in which case, let the Rho move first and reload, then Stridan moves and gives the TL, and then Hux's it up to give mods to everyone. Deadeye is for those alternate rounds where you don't SLAM or reload.

FD is mostly for the XG Rho, because Chips and a focus is usually enough to land the hits.

Anything with a working hux iam all for. Cant wait to try the gunboat with him

Do you want Hux for devotion? Because otherwise you could downgrade to a TIE Shuttle with Fleet Officer to still provide focuses, and have stronger Rhos, ie Deadeye, Harpoons, Prockets, Advanced Slam, OS-1 x2. Captain Jonus is the shuttle would provide re-rolls.

Yes. Always hitting with an Ion Pulse, Jamming Beam, or AHM? Maybe even Plasma Torps if I'm feeling bold.
