They are going to release an interceptor fix, it's called the TIE silencer.

To be fair it took a bit of work with the Search feature to find this one.
There was a reply which brought up a good point and that is the TIE Interceptor has better dials and attributes than the Kihrax, so where the Kihrax may be using one modification to up an attribute where the TIE Interceptor already with 3 firepower and 3 agility doesn't need to get both shield upgrade, hull upgrade and autothrusters, although that would be cool.

With the small, but important difference that Soontir ruled the meta for quite a long time, whereas the Kihraxzes (notably Talonbane) never really managed to do a lasting impression in the meta [apart from good pilots with * five * cartel * marauders *
].
Then as above cited from the other long thread about it (one of several).
You cannot really compare the Interceptor chassis, esp with the awesome dial and it's 2 innate reposition abilities to the OK dial of the Kihraxz with its zero repositioning abilities, and still argue that the Interceptor needs 3 mods at discount.

Then you would usually equip autos in addition.
Essentially 3 mods, but that way you get tl and shield upgrade at a huge discount, but cant npe turtle via autos+stealth device+palp. Makes the interceptor a bit less elusive but more aggressive.

Boo. No love for Avenger Sq. Pilot? J/K! I've never flown them either. I do love Alpha Sq. Pilots, and I wish they would get a title to make them more interesting (since I own 4 of them, plus 2 Imperial Aces packs). I think Sasajak has it right, though - the TIE Striker is the TIE interceptor fix (read: replacement), like it or not. I'm liking it.

No bomb damage.. ever! The Imperials need this, and on a ship as fragile as the Interceptor I can't see anyone complaining that it's overpowered.

But look at the chunky thing, the Kihraxe is a versatile, heavy Jouster, as its salespitch stated, it's " modeled after Incom’s popular X-wing starfighter. " It's not an Arc-dodger.... I don't want all ships to fly the same, it muddies the game and takes it's ship flavors away. Just give it a bit more survivability and punch. It now has cheaper Harpoons and you can load some mods and EPT for free, she'd great and will actually see play now in the post-multi-Jump meta.

We agree. Just pointing out that the OP request for triple discounted mods on the Interceptor just because Kihraxzfgl's have them is ridiculous. The K fighter is still borderline crap even with all the discounts. Interceptors are made out of paper and toothpicks but can dodge really well. The K-fighter still dodges exactly like a brick. Which is fine.
When everyone says K-fighter I immediately think of Kimogila...
