I'm taking a shot at a ship sitting in the corona, results include a red [accuracy] result. Do I have to cancel that (corona effect) before the quad turbolasers trigger? Or do the quad turbolasers trigger first, giving me two accuracies, that I only have to spend one of for the corona?

Quad Turbolaser Cannons is an Attack Effect. (Add)

Solar Corona states before resolving any attack effects.

Ergo, you must cancel your ACC result due to Corona before the QTC triggers.

So if your initial roll only has a single Red ACC result, that result is cancelled, and you don't get a Bonus... If you have multiple ACC results, so you can cancel one and still have a Red one showing afterwards, THEN and only then will you will get the Bonus Red ACC...

And in a similar way, any ACC added during the Attack Effects (say, from Home One) would be safe from Solar Corona, yes?

Correct. Home one / H9 / Jonus / etc - all of those effects are safe from Corona.

Corona only effects what you initially roll, before you modify
