I have one green squadron A-wing in a list. Is autothrusters or Snap shot the better choice?
A-wing conundrum
Whats the list look like overall?
I’m assuming you have Chaardan Refit on there?
Also, if you’re not going to take an EPT, use the generic pilot to save some points elsewhere.
Finally, If you’re gonna take Snapshot, try to find the points for Crackshot or Juke to go with it (with A-Wing Test Pilot).
What other upgrades do you have on the A-Wing?
In a vacuum, I'd say Autothrusters. But that might change depending on what else is in the list.
Lothal Rebel with FCS, Chopper, Hera
Captain Rex
Jess Pava with R2-D6, Trick Shot, Pattern Annalyzer, integrated Astro
Green Squadron with Awing test pilot, a score to settle and either AT or Snap shot.
Hmm. Based on that list, I'd still stick to Autothrusters.
Autothrusters+Adaptability or Trick Shot.

Autothrusters is a waste in this context since your Green Squadron is already the lowest priority target in the list and if it ends up being your last surviving ship you're going to have huge problems with closing out the game. Snap Shot boosts the Green's offense and annoyance factor. Kelvan's Snap + Juke and Swam Leader Jess adjustment makes for a much higher offense list - you have 3 ships that can feed Jess evades and still do what they need to do and you have two big guns that are pretty durable.
Snap for sure. haha, thats clevar @Kelvan using the ghost as an evade provider for swarm leader. I'm gonna do it!

I've actually found the opposite to be the case. Generally the A-wing represents a floating 22 points I have been playing around with the list. Whether an attack shuttle, A-wing, rookie, B-wing, Z-95 or another Tie it is the first to go. No one wants to shoot Jess initially because of her heavy defense early with the swarm. No one wants to shoot the Ghost because you can't bring him down in 1 or 2 turns and Rex is usually in the back at range 3 or out of range from half the squad that they don't want to take pot shots at him. I generally run this ship aggressively out in front because either A.) it is the lowest target priority and I want people questioning whether or not they should shoot it, B.) it is a lot of times PS2 and needs to move first so having it in front just makes sense and C.) I don't want you dropping the other three first anyways.

Very nice analysis. I would agree with all of this.
I had a Green score crit crit snap shot on Dengar who blamked and then pulled two direct hits for 4 damage to finish him. Don't under estimate shap shot.

I liked this one a lot actually but I'm really liking pattern analyzer on Jess. More Action efficiency on the K-turn which is so crucial for this list.
I really like the idea of rex to help with offense, but I threw this together and I am totally going to give it a whirl.
