Who wants to see the unpainted minis and new upgrades??

By Undeadguy, in Star Wars: Legion

Go Wedge!

Hahaha google translate is the best.

" The 74-Z Sliding Motorcycle expansion unit includes a unit of two slider bikes and all the unit and improvement cards needed to reinforce your ranks."

" The T-47 hovercraft is a low altitude assault slider, perfectly prepared for long distance reconnaissance and exploration of a hostile environment like Hoth's, but also prepared to engage in combat."

Hence forth, all speeders are to be called sliders.

On another note I am super excited to see the unpainted minis!

"Pivotaje Completo"? So, Wedge can pivot after moving? nice

Yeah he will be very nice

Can anyone make out what the AT-ST upgrades do? I've been wanting to know since it was spoiled, but I can't read blurry Spanish.

Not sure if this has been shared anywhere, but the Spanish FFG website got different news articles than the English did.

The Spanish site has the unpainted core set too, fyi. (also, the individual product pages have some other pictures, such as an Airspeeder height comparison).

So how many of these upgrades are news to us? Just Wedge and the AT-ST weapons (which we knew about, but hadn't seen), I think.

My Spanish is reeeaaally rusty , but it looks like Wedge reads:

Quote

Rebel only.

[unsure?] vehicles only.

-> Until the end of your activation, you gain the quality Complete Pivot (when you pivot, you may pivot [a full?] 360°.

I'm really unsure about that word that kinda looks like "repulsor", since it doesn't match any of the text on the Airspeeder card, so I don't know how one would define what that means [ex, as if it said "speeders only", as the Airspeeder has the Speeder keyword]. Also, it's been years since Spanish class.

But in other words, he's a five point upgrade that you can exhaust to turn on a dime.

The middle weapon and other two cards are the same as the English spread.

The Mortar is, I'm guessing, Range 4 - unlimited? Three white dice, Fixed Front and "fuego de contención", followed by some blurry Spanish above my fluency level. I'm kinda guessing it does something to morale.

The other weapon is range 1-2, Fixed [not visible; probably front, but possibly side?], and the other keyword is hidden but seems to be possibly the same keyword on the AT-RT flamethrower.

Ay carramba!

The T-47 doesn't look so squidgy in espanol.

Gracias for the links. I'm going to have to keep an eye on the spanish FFG from now on.

Yea it looks like they are releasing a lot of the same upgrades through multiple packs. The Comms and Jammer are in the AT-ST, slider bike, and air slider.

But this also confirms we will have other named characters, like Wedge, which is really cool.

I didn't look at the range on the mortars. Pretty cool it if has unlimited range and those bad white dice. Even better for 10 points! And with 2 attacks, that's going to be quite the center piece during a fight.

I'm so glad the stands are clear! I really didn't like the grey primed ones from the painted photos.

Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't even notice at first :P

The Spanish website is a treasure trove. Here's the size of the two Heavy options, finally putting a nail in those debates:

Just as interesting is the price points for preorder.

It seems they just copy/pasted the us prices in euro's

Sadly, no. It definitely finishes the "are they in scale?" questions but does little for the "what scale are they truly in?" many of us want to know so we can get our scenery just right.

Wowzers! That AT-ST is big ? I can’t believe it’s only $50

Yes!!! I didn’t see that a first!

I don’t see the unpainted core set. Can someone post a photo please?

Unfortunately this is pretty much how FFG games are priced in Europe, 1 to 1 conversion... In smaller things like the 15 bucks X-Wing ships does not feel that bad but in epic ships or now with Legion feels unfair.

Exactly how it's meant to be :P I'm so distracted when I look at the painted photos, I can't stop looking at the awkward grey stick.

Fuego de contención translates to "containment fire" or maybe "suppression fire" and says something along the lines of "after you make an attack, the defender receives a (????) token". I can't tell what the last word is, but I'm guessing it means a suppression token.

The Range 1-2 weapon is the grenade launcher and it looks like it has Blast .

The Range 1-3 looks like the laser cannons and has Impact (antiblindaje)

If it's any consolation us poor saps down in Australia/New Zealand will get slugged harder than the eu.....

Those $15 xwing ships cost us nearly double. . ..

Awesome, thanks for posting these.

So happy that the flight stands are clear plastic!

Agreed. The Air Slider should look likes it's on air, not fog.
