I recently found arkhamdb.com. I think you all just know that and I'd like to know if there is a way to use the site to create 2 or more decks, specifying the contents of your own collection... I mean: I have 1 copy of all core sets and scenarios and I wont to make 2 deck for 2 guardian carcacters (ex: Roland Banks and Mark Harrigan).
ArkhamDB
Under your profile you can go to collection which allows you to say what you have
ok, but... there is not a way to filter the decks specifying the contents of your own collection?
hi @aenima there's currently no way to do that, as arkhamdb, when you begin making a deck, checks the entire collection, rather than checking what cards have been used by other decks. So yeah, no option. Of course, you can just make a note of what you've used in one deck or another, but yeah, no other way, currently.
Worth noting as well that you don't need to publish a deck - you can save it, edit it, tinker with it and even upgrade it with xp without the need to publish it. So it becomes a useful way of tracking a deck's progression.
mmmh... It's a pity... it would be very interesting...
I've made recommendations on this to the *db.com sites. Their collection manager is well-intentioned, but honestly more of a burden than anything else.
While it's not perfect, one thing you can do is go to your "my decks" page, select both of the decks you want to look at then click "with selection" and select "compare two decks". This will bring up a page showing the contents of each deck, with any cards that are shared between the two at the top, and any cards that are not shared highlighted in a light red below. It's not ideal, but it at least gives a quick way to see where you have card choices that overlap, and you can compare numbers to see if you need to make any changes.
